Works well!
I purchased a bag of this fertilizer in hopes of improving my back yard without having to reseed and start over in the fall.
My lawn is your typical cool season lawn with a mix of Kentucky Blue Grass, Perennial Rye Grass, and Fescue.
I applied this product dead in the middle of summer when most lawns are going dormant due to lack of rain and water restrictions here on the west coast.
After 3 days, I wasn't seeing the results I was expecting but to be fair, you should be using this product when the grass is actively growing. I was starting to right this product off.
Then after a few weeks, I was blown away by the explosive growth that my grass was going through. 20 days in and my lawn has NEVER looked this good. Watch the video and see the results for your self.
I am loving this fertilizer and I would buy it over and over. Highly recommended.

This is a fantastic product
I bought this last year and I am closing in on one year total. I have the greenest lawn. I alternated with Scotts grass seed as well. Add proper watering and the grass just takes off. Now when I push a screwdriver into the lawn to test soil density I hear a lot of grass roots crunching because there is so much grass, it's like a carpet. Two years ago with no fertilizer, no grass seed and no watering, I had a horrible weed ridden lawn. Ortho Weed B Gon Max controls the weeds and the healthy grass chokes them out by out competing them.

Best Fertilizer I’ve used so far!

Really Disappointed! New Lawn Ruined
So upset, this product says it is OK for sod but its ruined it. All I have is yellow burned patches all over my lawn. It was expensive and time consuming to lay the sod,only to have it ruined by this!

Best Fertilizer, Best Lawn on the block
I put green max down every 3-4 weeks, yah probably more then you need but I love having the best lawn on the block, perfect stripes. Grows thick and very dark green. Stands out in your neighbourhood like you wouldn't believe. Just be ready you will have to mow it every 5-6 days because of how well it works. I don't mind mowing that often, just love how great it looks. Never burned my lawn!
