Restez au chaud grâce à ce chauffe-patio suspendu EnerG+. Parfait pour les abris de jardin, les balcons, les terrasses et plus encore, il est protégé contre la pluie et peut être utilisé à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Cette chaufferette légère est facile à installer et utilise une technologie infrarouge propre et sans odeur (aucune émission de monoxyde de carbone). Elle offre 2 niveaux de chaleur et se branche dans une prise standard 110 volts, 60Hz. Ampoule filamentaire au carbone de longue durée de vie (5000 heures). 16,7" de diamètre. Garantie 1 an.

Can it be used for light only if heat isn’t required?
Nope, there is no separate light source. But the heat element emits nice light that you would not need another light source when used as a heater.

Can I use a plug-timer with this hanging heat lamp? ie., if I pull the cord to turn it on (while plugged in), will it still be set to 'on' after the power supply is shut off and then turned back on? Thx.
Yes it’s a mechanical switch so it will stay on until you pull it.

Does anyone have any feedback regarding use in a garage?
This hester is for outdoor use so presume is not intended for internal environment including a garage. Would be surprised if such use would meet fire code requirements.

Works well but limited range
Bought this a few weeks ago and it has made sitting on the patio on cool spring evenings bearable. Even on the high setting though, there's only so much heat that it can put out from a 15 amp circuit. On windy days, most of the heat was blown away, but that's expected. I ended up hanging it pretty low over the centre of the table so the heat can be felt and just need to figure out an easy way to lift it up higher once the weather warms up. I'm glad we bought it and would do it again (on sale of course ;) ).

Wonderful!
We bought three of these about a month ago on sale and have had NO regrets. They are hanging above our outdoor eating area. When all twelve of us are having a family get together we just turn them on in the cooler evenings and the party continues! Very easy to install...just hang (swag chain is included), plug in and pull the string to turn on.

Not a lot of heat
My feelings are mixed about this heater. If you had a couple of them over your patio table it might give off enough heat to keep you warm if there is no wind but if the temperature is anything lower than about 10 degrees Celsius you’re not going get much use from it.

Not enough heat
I bought this in September so we could sit out in the cooler evenings BUT it isn't worth the money. We have it hung in our gazebo over our table and it gives off some heat but only to a radius of 6 feet but not enough to keep you warm. If the temp goes below 60F you might as well turn it off. It gives off a very bright light for reading though.

Does the trick!
We’ve been using this heater on our front porch for the past month and it provides enough heat to take the cool edge off of fall. Will see how the winter goes but adds another sitting area outside! Didn’t think we’d use it as much as we do! So far,so good!

extends the outdoor season
very happy with this lamp hanging over our patio table. we have already extended a few evening dinners and lunches as it cools into October. It heats quickly. we needed an extension cord of course and clips to keep the cord above the table.

Disappointed.
I bought this a month ago to heat my patio. I’m very disappointed as even if you are sitting directly beneath it it doesn’t give off much heat. Might be okay in an enclosed garage but not outdoors.
