Description
Ce disque à tronçonner Dremel EZ Lock dure deux fois plus longtemps que les disques à tronçonner ordinaires en fibre de verre renforcée. Ce disque à tronçonner pour outil rotatif est clairement identifié. Il est compatible avec tous les outils rotatifs de Dremel. Sa conception EZ Lock permet de changer d'accessoire six fois plus rapidement qu'un mandrin standard.

On almost every one of the EZ Lock cutting wheels I got in my kit, the metal ring ripped off from the actual cutting wheel making the tool useless after only a short time of cutting. Wheel had plenty of meat left on it if I could attach it to something.

AMAZINGLY VERSATILE TOOL
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most people would buy a cutting wheel with just one purpose in mind: cutting a piece of metal, but I have found that these cutting wheels can do so much more than just cut off the end of a piece of metal. I have used the cutting wheel to notch things and even to create effects on projects. I built a drop down table for a friend's apartment and used the cutting wheel throughout the project, not just cutting the tile & piano hinge, but also to create effects in the tiles on the edging to give it a little more detail and enhance the appearance. I always seem to find a new use for the cutting wheels when I least expect it and when I'm involved in fabricating something and reach a point of indecision. I LOVE DREMEL!

Breaks at hub
These wheels work great when the work. My experience is that the hub breaks loose after only seconds of use on more than half of the discs. I find I need to buy at least 3 times the number I expect to need and be prepared to throw 2/3 of them away as soon as I try to use them.

Easy lock cut off disks
Great tool! Easy off cut off disks great idea, however, like other reviewers, I had a high failure rate. The metal part seperates from the disk. Had two new ones, both broke before using. Luckily I had an already used one that held up through the job.

Dremel 5-Piece Fiber Cutting Wheels
I used a cutting wheel to remove the yoke holding my hoe in a broken handle. Worked better than I had anticipated and now I am back to working in my garden with a new handle.

It works like it should!

Whether EZ Lock or standard, thin or regular, they can handle it. They even cut well on hardened metals. They can also be used for carving and grinding. My go to cutting tool.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using these EZLock cutting wheels for years now and am surprised at how often I have used them.
During a recent move, the rental truck had a padlock on the cargo door. The key they provided would not unlock it. I had my Drexel Tool handy and used the EZ Lock cutter to cut the padlock. Also, just used it today to cut some blowout nails from a nail gun.

I was putting a metal roof on a shed. I had to cut one 8ft piece lengthwise as neatly as possible it took three wheels to due it. One wheel broke loose from its frame as soon as it touched the metal. A second one got half way on the piece and it also broke free from frame. Third time was a charm. I used these wheels before with good results but not this time.

center metal ez lock ring keeps falling off
Debated going with standard or the EZ lock style. Spent the extra money and went with the EZ lock. I was cutting some light metal sheet that was 22ga. Got less than 5in into the cut and the metal ring popped out and made the cutting wheel useless. Should not spent the extra money on the ez lock. had to switch back to the regular cutoff wheel. Disappointing.

Hard metal was cut like butter
I used this product to cut the wheel bearing housing from the front knuckle on my car. This metal was hardened and impossible to remove with a bearing press. I was able to easily get in the small areas and cut through the housing with ease. I highly recommend this cutting wheel for any metal work projects.....add photo feature not working on android.

Center ring pops right out, useless...
I decided to spend the extra $$ and get the ez lock system for cutting and the extra 12 pack of ez lock cutting blades for it. Out of the total 17 ez cut discs (12 extra pack and 5 with ez lock system) the center rings popped out of 15 of them, and most of them with very little cutting time. Talk about a waste of a good sum of $$. So buyer beware.

Metal cutter blades. I needed to cut 6 nailheads.
Went through 3 blades! The blade kept failing at the center! I was careful to go slow, not forcing. Just let the blade do the work. It still blew apart at the center. It’s way too flimsy! Very frustrating. Did eventually just score the nail-heads and finish with metal clippers.

Great tool. Not so great cutting disc.
I love my Dremel tool I have used them for many many projects over the years and I saw the EZlock system so I decided to give it a try and the EZ456 wheels kept popping out of the center ring. I went through an entire 5 pack of wheels on one project. This ezlock system has definitely has some bugs that need to be worked out.

Easy and Quick

I use these religiously on my old Jeep and it saves me a ton of time versus using the traditional cutting disks that are prone to exploding if you get a little too squirly.

Cut well but don't last long
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find that these blades cut very well but the center ring that holds the blade on consistently pops off rendering the blade useless. This happens frequently while there is plenty of life left on the blade itself. Otherwise I would have rated these a 5.

This cut-off wheel came with the kit and now used up. I went out and bought more for I did not think that we had any use for this. I was wrong, it is amazing what we have that needs to be removed such as: metal screws and nails, uneven metal ends that are sharp until we used this metal cut-off wheel.

Cuts beautifully

Center kept popping out in less then a minute, I only wanted to saw through a rusted bolt that wouldn't release. Returned to store and I will try the old style, hopefully that will work since I've been trying to change the rubber gasket on the freaking toilet for over a week now.

Did the job on stainless steel
I had a tail hitch receiver lock (Masterlock 1479DAT Class III/IV Barbell™ Receiver ) which failed and I had to cut it off. This wheel did the job in about 2 mins, probably would have been faster but it is a tight spot around the tail hitch cover/lock

Used these wheels to cut old nails in a building we were renovating. Did a great job cutting through even the thickest nails. Would recommend safety glasses and a safety guard on Dremel to keep sparks and any debris out of eyes. Gloves also a must.

Dremel fiber cutting wheel.
