It did a good job at keeping my toddler out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Safety 1st Grip N Twist Door Knob Cover was pretty easy to install. It took a couple of tries for me to get it open to put it on the door knob. My toddler was not able to open doors to rooms that she was not supposed to be in after it was installed. She did alot of grumbling, pulling, prying, banging on it but she was not able to get it off to open the door. I had something similar to these but my daughter could still open the door & was able to slam the door against the wall & knock the knob cover off. I wish I had found these sooner. Im so thankful for the free sample from Viewpoints.

New Design Doesn't Fit
Same feedback as previous poster. I bought some extra and they do not fit same door knob the previous model use to fit. I have a house < 5 yrs old, so I have standard modern door knobs. Useless to me now.

Newer design doesn't fit
The older version of these fit just fine. We bought some additional ones and even on the same style doorknob, these no longer fit. They added a "lip" on the bottom part (the part closest to the door" and will no longer fit around our doorknob. Very disappointed with our wasted money since we can't return a partially used package.

Does not fit my standard door knob
After my toddler made an escape I decided to get this safety knob cover. After squeezing hard while trying to get the notches to click into the slots for the upper part of the safety knob cover, when I got to the bottom portion of the door knob I then realized that the safety knob cover could not fit around the base of my door knob. Taking it back off was a little tricky.

New Design is Worthless
Have an older set currently installed on several internal doors. New design has a spacer on the side towards door that makes it virtually impossible to install and causes the fit to be so tight that any rotation also rotates the knob, making the product useless.

We got these for our 2 year old that likes to go outside on his own, but he found he can easily pull them apart in seconds.
