Much better than a cordless drill.
Bought this to help out on a sheet rocking project at step sons. What a time saver! I was putting 4 to 5 screws in versus what was being done with a cordless drill. A few test screws to determine the correct depth and it was time to go. I have very little experience in "hanging rock" and this made it much simpler and quicker. Pull the trigger and keep it up to speed and drive the screw home. Correct depth every time without breaking the paper. Couldn't be happier.

Best choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Less expensive than others, very durable and most important, it’s light weight. It’s got a great clutch set up.

Great Value
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this and it only took about half a dozen screws to get it adjusted properly. After that it has saved much time and frustration by ensuring that each screw goes in the same depth. Well worth the money.

broke
I usually don't take the time to write reveiws. This broken tool prompted me to. While on a ladder I was reaching outward skightly to put a screw in and the head sheared off at the casting. I don't think I made it through a box of 1 1/4" screws in 1/2 sheetrock. I am 55yrs old and only weigh about 150lbs with some health issues so it's not like I over powered it. Very disapointed in this USA made tool. Taking it back to get something else.

Good Value
It's a good quality built screw gun and it was made the USA and offered at a reasonable price. Works like it supposed and seems very durable so it should last for many years. I found the stock bit to be junk but that is easily resolved.
