Adjustable post base
In wet concrete place a 5/8" J-bolt. When set, add this bracket over the jBolt followed with a large washer, the nut and another washer. In the bottom of your post, drill a hole big enough to accept the entire length of the J-bolt then set that on the J-bolt. Now you can adjust the post up or down by turning the nut. When the post is at the right height, pull the tie up and put in 6 screws to fasten it to the post. Any time you need to adjust the post, take out the screws, drop the tie down, make the adjustment then move the tie back and fasten. Now you have a secure connection that will prevent uplift and give you the adjustments needed for decks

when you need something to hold your post right
I've used these strong tie bases a few times and they always hold things in place better than I expect. They will give you a nice solid hold on your post and prevent any side to side movement. They always say create a good foundation and the rest will follow, or something like that. These are solid bases and are consistently accurate

Measure your products to match each other.
The brackets were what I had in mind for my project. With one exception; the 4x4 bracket were having trouble fitting on 4x4 posts. One or both products were not measured to a specific diameter. I made it work in any case.
