Le produit d'étanchéité de première qualité DYNAFLEX 230(MD) de marque DAP(MD) combine durabilité, imperméabilité, puissance d'adhérence ainsi que souplesse avec la capacité d'être facilement lissé, peint et nettoyé à l'eau, tout en étant très peu odorant. Il peut être utilisé tant à l'intérieur qu'à l'extérieur. Ce calfeutrant est parfait pour colmater les fuites d'air afin d'améliorer l'efficacité énergétique.

This is some sticky caulk, be ready, be steady.
The Dynaflex was exceptional and was easy to apply. I needed this for the interior windows on the front west side of the house, the sun is brutal and I used this same caulk five years ago and it endured the elements. The settling into the grooves and sealing once set was as expected. It is some kind of sticky and it will hold in place, so you have to go slow and steady while applying the sealant/caulk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using this calk over 20 years. I love this stuff. We’ve been in our current house over 20 years. There are areas that I chalked when we first moved in. It’s still pliable and holding up. Silicone performance and water cleanup. I’ve read other reviews about the painters calk at half the price. You get what you pay for. In my experience, painters calk may eventually dry and crack. I’m sold on 230. I buy it by the case. I rehab houses as a hobby. Can’t beat it.

Caulk stays flexible
I have used this caulking for years. A while back I pulled some trim off a window that Dynaflex was used on years before and the caulking was still flexible. It also goes on easy. Wipe it off areas that you do not want caulking on though, otherwise dirt will stick to it, sometimes even after you paint it. You can paint over it.

Good quality painters caulk
I use a lot of this caulk for filling cracks before painting. I trust that the label is accurate, and it's more flexible and long lasting than the cheaper acrylic caulks. I started using it 4 years ago, and that caulk is holding up fine. We live where it rains a lot, so a good seal is critical.

I have redone all thr caulking in thr exterior of my home and used this product on every seam and crack visible and let me just say i absolutely love this product. It stays flexible after drying and it cleans up very easy with water and soap to give you clean lines. Its easy to apply and it looks great after being painted. I even tried more premium brands and i still choose this one. Its basicslly goof proof.

Goes on great
I’m using it on the exterior of my house on primed wood before applying the top coats.
It applies and smooths out really well. I filled some 1/2” gaps with it, no problem. And when I grabbed it again the next day, I just picked off the dried out tip and it started flowing again, no problem. Maybe that’s a big thing, maybe not. But not throwing away half full tubes is pretty nice, I’m sure you understand.
As for the longevity, I put it on a few weeks ago, so remind me in 10 years and I’ll let you know.

Elastomeric compound for siding interfaces
Elastomeric compound expands and contracts by incredibly high percentages without tearing and damaging the material. I have read estimates of 200 to 300 percent. This caulk is perfect for most materials interfacing with many wood based materials. Especially good for spaces or gaps in wood based siding. I used this compound to manually repair old Masonite siding deterioration as a temporary repair until I can afford replacing my siding.

Caulk Dries to Nothing
I have used DAP caulk on my house for 52 years and in the early days, was delighted with it. I used this caulk for new casing around two interior doors. When it went on, it looked great: the next morning, the gaps looked as though I had never caulked them - this stuff shrank to invisibility. I then bought a couple of tubes of Big Flex which worked as I expected it to.
