Great product and value!
We wanted to replace carpet on our stairs to basement with wood treads and stain them to match our main floor hardwood. These were a great choice as they fit right over the existing stairs. It was a bigger job than anticipated, but the results are worth it. We love how the stairs now look! And cost effective solution, we highly recommend!

Great result
We installed 5 of these over plain basement steps. The result is really beautiful, a real transformation.
The oak veneer is pretty thin so multiple coats of clear acrylic or varethane are recommended. The nosing is substantial. We glued each step and put in a few brad nails alone the back.
We were told that this product is discontinued. We had to go to several Rona stores to get 5. Not sure why the tread cover is advertised so often on line.

A perfect retrofit for my basement stairs.
These fit perfectly and were easy to install. My stairs look as food as new at a fraction of the cost of e new staircase.

Couldn't be easier!
I bought these stairs to resurface my stairs leading to the basement ( had carpet on them) Of course all stairs are not the same dimensions so I did have to make a few minor cuts. These have a foam backing on them as well as the bull nose. Set them over the old ratty stairs and done like dinner. These stairs are the complete package all in one. Couldn't be easier!!

Very easy to install. Just cut to width, stained and installed. In my case didn't need to remove old toe.
