Direct replacement for Stanley 10-855
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking to re-buy my Stanley 10-855, which I have fallen in love with. Found a lady with a DeWalt shirt and backpack standing in the aisle, who told me that the brands had been merged, and this knife was the most direct replacement for that Stanley model. It's slightly thicker, but lighter, because they used a composite material instead of the metal "airframe." I've had it for a couple of weeks, and it's an adequate replacement--same feel, same speed, same ease of use.

Awesome Knife
I got the knife after having a very dissapointing purchase of a Stanley quick slide utiliy knife very difficult and and pain to use. So I took that one back went to lowes and looked at these awesome looking new Craftsman utiliy knives I went in favor for these folder style instead of the sliders. I like this one because of the nice simple design of it. It is nice and light and comfortable to hold. And the blade change is made nicley it feels very safe and hassle free to flip or switch out blade. Overall I think this knife will be a good work knife only time will tell but if the time does come to switch out I will be able to with the Full Lifetime warranty but I hope I never have to use it. In the end I think this is a nice high quality knife that will holdup and get the job done.

Small yet strong
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had lost my last knife that was smaller than most knives and when I found this one I thought I would give it a try. It is strong yet small enough to carry around with me all day. I like the red which makes it easier to find when I set down.

Replaced a Kolbalt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first folding knife was a Kobalt that broke at the pivot. I replaced it with a new Kobalt that would not except a new blade. I returned it and decided to try out this Craftsman. So far, so good and no failure.

Lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lightweight in 2 ways. Doesn't weigh a lot, but doesn't feel like it can handle any rough handling or hard work. I have used the Kobalt like this for years and they are built sturdier.
