Les comptoirs de cuisine en acacia live edge sont vernis et prêt a l utilisation. vous n aurez pas besoin de traiter avec une huile .

Can you cut this wood with a circular or table saw? We would like to cut it in half and then use the other cuts as side pieces. Thanks
it should cut fine with proper blade. NOTE - NOT FINISHED FOR WATER USE. You'd need to get properly sealed to use with a sink. I'm just buying for a desk top

In the store this is labeled as 75 inches. Is it 72 or 75 inches long? Also, can this be used for as a counter for a bar area? Will it need to be protected?
What is the approximate weight of this counter? This is listed as laminate material. What is the core made of?
Was planning to use this outside. Any recommendations on what to put on it to help it withstand the elements?

A very nice piece; the perfect solution
The countertop is the perfect addition to our newly renovated country kitchen. The wood is deeply grained with rich colours. Unlike some other options that we reviewed, the piece comes finished and does not require further varnishing. The pricing was comparable to the alternatives. The live edge appeals aesthetically and adds a unique design feature to the kitchen/ dining area. We are very happy that we found this product at RONA. Delivery was handled quickly and competently.

Poor quality, delamination and warping.
I purchased the item to use as a desk-top. The item initially looked very nice with some minor imperfections, however when I went to install it on my desk frame, I found that the rear right corner was beginning to delaminate. I went back to Lowes to see if I could exchange, however they didn't have any others in stock nor were they planning on getting any in, so I opted to keep the item as I need a desk, and things are difficult to source right now, however I am not happy with it. Upon closer inspection there are multiple areas which have been filled and the desk continues to delaminate and warp in multiple locations. I suspect inferior wood has been used and it has been improperly dried/processed. The humidity in my location isn't an issue, I don't think this should be happening.

Beautiful wood
Previously I had purchased a table top which I turned into a nice TV stand. I've decided to go with the same theme and purchased this countertop to be grafted to a coffee table. Woodworking is not my first choice, but I was able to rip and section with my circular saw. The new edge finished up nicely with Teak oil. This is a great addition to our home. FYI, the side of the coffee table are repurposed antique park bench sides.

Didn’t turn out as I hoped
Purchased this to cut for a fireplace mantle, I’m aware their are variations in color but the product I received was much lighter in color and had light color wood running down the sides. Because the shipping and return process was such a hassle (had to be home to receive it, no way to fit in car to return it) I decided to just go ahead with the project - the end result was just a cheap looking wood shelf rather than the stylish wood edge I was hoping for.

Rapport qualité-prix imbattable!
J’ai acheté ce comptoir (25.5 x 72 pouces) en promo en août 2022 et l’ai fait taillé sur place. Est-il parfait? Non, car aucun arbre n’est parfait! Néanmoins, un comptoir en acacia équivalent coûtait plus du double du prix chez toutes les entreprises spécialisées que nous avons visités. Nous avons dû sablé légèrement et protégé les côtés coupés. Mais au total c’est un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

I bought this probably 6-7 months ago. I put it in my new home im renovating but not living in. It’s sat unused, uninstalled. I’ve watched it go from small imperfections I just felt to now a complete split down the middle that I can see daylight coming through and long with raised knots. Absolutely not suitable for an island counter as I intended to use it.
