BOSTITCH
Description
Ensemble de 2 outils de Bostitch comprenant le compresseur et la cloueuse. Le compresseur est pourvu d'une pompe sans huile et sans entretien. Il comporte un réservoir à plat de 6 gallons (22,7 l), d'une capacité maximale de 150 PSI. Livraison d'air la pompe de 2,6 CFM à 90 PSI. Réservoir de réserve de 6 gallons avec drain de vidange de type à bille pour faciliter l'écoulement. La coiffe protectrice en composite résistant aux chocs protège les différentes jauges. Le moteur Bostitch(R) de 2 hp à haut rendement assure un démarrage facile par temps froid. Inclut un cordon prolongateur (14 GA ou plus, 50 pi max. ). Le bruit sonore, en opération, est limité à 80 dBA. L'ensemble inclus également une cloueuse de finition 18 G pour clous plats de 2", une conduite d'air à haut rendement de 1/4" x 15' avec raccords, ainsi que certains modèles d'attaches. Le guide de profondeur enfonce les clous à la profondeur désirée et l'échappement ajustable sans outil évacue l'air à l'opposé de l'utilisateur. Parfait pour les moulures intérieures, couronnées, plinthes, ébénisterie, lambris. Garantie de 7 ans pour la cloueuse et 1 an pour le compresseur.

Can this be used for blowing out water lines for the winter? Can it be easily attached to a garden hose?
If you are referring to a holiday trailer, you can get an adapter that screws into the fitting where you would attach a garden hose. The air hose will also attach to this adapter. I usually set the compressor to about 40 psi and it will clear the water out of your lines. Just make sure to remember to remove the drain plug on the trailer's water pump.

More than enough. It is actually the CFM that is more important and this unit will also meet the needs of inflating tires.

Occasional,use seems to work fine. I use mine to remove and install lug nuts with impact driver. Don't think it would be suitable for sustained use though.

I see the hose is 1/4 inch , most hoses I’ve seen for framing nailers are 3/8 inch , has anyone used this compressor with a framing nailer ? -does it work well ? .8 horsepower seems small . What’s the difference between CFM and SCFM ?
Yes just set the PSI to the Nailer requirements - used the 1/4in line on a floor Nailer and 3 different size on Nailer's - added my longer 3/8 line - made no difference. The only difference you will find as you increase you Nailer size is tank air volume capacity. It drains faster!
The only issue I have with the compressor is slow to reload compared to other brands such as the Makita. Which is higher priced! I have a 5gal 2 cylinder compressor for big continuous framing. For small jobs indoors this one does what I need to do!

Just picked this up and have the Sb-1850Bn 2-in 18 GA brad nailer which drives 18ga brad nails from 5/8-in to 2-in for a wide variety of applications.

Was good first year..
Thing worked great for blowing off my tools.. car etc.. pumping up the odd thing for the pool.. bought mine Dec 26 2014.. Just stopped the other day.. motor was shooting sparks.. I could hear it slowing down and I'm glad I went and checked on it. Just out of warranty.
Took it to the repair shop and they quoted me $275 for a new motor saying the brushes were worn out.

Quality tool, easy to set up and use
Purchased this compressor with brad nailer combo as a replacement for a compressor from another manufacture failed. Very easy to get the Bostitich up and going.. Much quieter than I expected and very easy to move around. Brad nailer is surprisingly easily to use and is designed for safe use. Using it for installing trim moldings in several rooms. Does a great job for this relative novice carpenter.

Functions perfectly, but was not brand new
I ordered it online and picked it up in-store. The machine had bare minimum packaging but looked new so I didn't think about it. After I used it with 0 issues, I realized there are major scratches on the bottom and side.
The machine works with 0 issues so I haven't returned it or complained, but wanted to warn others that this is a possibility. I would've given this product a 5 out of 5 if the product didn't look used.
Also didn't come with nails in the box. I believe in the online add it states there is supposed to be 500 nails with it.

I haven't had a chance to use it much yet but so far it feels like much better quality then the porter cable model which is what I'm used to. The plunger on the gun is nice and small which makes for less filling to do on the trim.

Nice Compressor package
Bought this on sale with a plan to finish my basement and build a deck next summer. I also bought a framing nailer and they work very well together. Wanted a strong performer for a good price. Tested on tires and then drove some nails to a fence post and did a great job. Delivers a good power to the tools for a clean delivery on the tool end. Its a little loud in my townhouse basement but as long as I ran it in the day, I'm ok. Looks like need to follow instructions to use it safely and to give it long life. Recommend it.

I bought this kit about 1 month ago. works well, loud so indoor the sound is amplified. can continuously drive 2 inch brads. no jams. for what it is meant it is a very good product. don't expect to continuously drive a framing nailer but the unit can handle it although at a light duty. recommend for the family handyman.

We bought our compressor and brad nailer combo online and found the service excellent. The compressor and nailer work great and get the job done !!! We did change the hose to a higher quality but that was a personal choice. We will be making future purchases through Lowes I'm sure.
