Looking to store my winter pool cover. Read a review (posted a few years ago) about the bottom being flimsy and not one solid piece. Has this been addressed? Need something to keep rodents out from chewing and nesting through summer months.
I purchased the Keter deck box last summer and it is solid. I store my patio furniture cushions in it and they even stayed dry throughout the winter. It's also great as another seat. I'm hoping it continues to protect and keep critters and leaks out.

Hello Peterjay, Mice can get into anything. We do not recommend storing any type of food in the deck box. It is not rodent proof.

Easy to Assemble
I just bought this deck box and assembled it myself. It might be slightly easier with a second person once you have to affix the lid. The snap together design is great. You only need a screwdriver to install the hardware. It feels a bit less sturdy and lighter than I expected (perhaps because it is all snapped together) for the price. It has a good amount of space. Sort of an XL size but there are certainly larger ones around that hold 150 gallons plus. It is lockable, though it is plastic so not impossible to get inside. Likely best to keep it in one place rather than moving it around.

flimsy bottom
I purchased this item but after getting it home and opening the box, realized the bottom was flimsy with two parts joined in the middle so it wasn't solid, nor completed sealed from the bottom, so ants and bugs could crawl in. I returned the item the very next day. I am disappointed they did not show this part on-line, and for the price I paid I expected a better quality product. Very disappointing.

Always an issue
I bought this as it was a great size and price. I admit I was hesitant at first as I bought a Keter shed last year and it came damaged. I emailed back and forth with Keter who promised to send a replacement part then to provide a refund. They did neither. I decided to give Keter another chance. Well this deck box came with a hole in the lid. Sadly I did not notice until after it was together. A friend of mine said I could fill it with caulking as it was a pain to take back now that it was assembled. I should have gone with my gut and not purchased another Keter product. No use reaching out to their support as I learned they talk a good game but do nothing. Beware of their products and don’t expect support.

Excellent Product
Loved this deckbox. I was looking at another one but the reviews were bad so I started looking for something different. Found this deckbox and purchased it. It was easy to install, looks great, roomy and the lid closes automatically.
Also waterproof
Definatley recommend.

Cheap plastic
Just finished assembling this box. Plastic is very flimsy. I had to take apart the bottom part because it wasn't snapped together properly from the factory which was preventing me from assembling two of the panels. In doing so, I chipped a piece of plastic that connects the two bottom panels together.
The bottom doesn't connect tightly together, which would allow bugs to crawl through and allow water to seep in as well.
For the price, you would think that the product would be of much better quality.

Huge and Roomy!
Ordered this larger size less than a week ago after seeing a smaller version at a friends - thought it looked so nice and tidy! Arrived in 3-4 days, we had it up within the hour. Fits our numerous outdoor cushions easily. Yes, as per another reviewer's comments, the bottom seemed flimsy at first, but once all the sides and top are together, it is fine. Honestly, we won't be moving this box around anyway. It's a great product and fits nicely into our outdoor decor.
