Bonjour Valerie02, le climatiseur vient avec le kit de fenêtre, qui permet de bloquer l'air des deux cotés (qui est sous la forme d'accordéon effectivement) .

Keeps Us Cool
Bought this unit last week , had to replace an older model that was just not working as it should. Took little time to cool a 27 degree celcius degree motbile home and brought the inside temp down to a cool 20 celcius. Its a tad loud on high, but with the humidity and heat we;ve had last few weeks cant complain.
Only thing that wont work was the remote. tried everything beyond contacting support. It has a 5 year warranty and I hope it lasts. Good fit in a 45 inch x 31 inch wide window. sealed it in and BAM..nice and cool. At times we did have to turn it up a few degrees as it got a bit too chilly. But its Canada and heat in the summer these days is normal. Never say you cant beat the heat with this one. ;)

Very good window air conditioning
I bought this AC unit last week and it worked very good. Easy to install, detailed installation and care guide. It even comes with a plastic ruler since you need a ruler to measure the side panel. Very good of the company to include even the ruler. Everything you need to install this is in the box. It’s not very heavy for an 8000 btu only 47 pounds. I installed it in the biggest room in my appartement and it cools it off really fast.

J'ai acheté il y a 1 semaine, aucun regret. Plus silencieux que mon 6000 btu. Je refroidis 2 pièces sans aucun problème(500 pi 2). Il fait 30 dehors depuis 2 jours et dans maison il fait 25C.

Cools very well but...
It cools as well as you'd expect of a 8000BTU unit, however the specifications says it does not go above 57 decibels at its loudest. I can confirm that this is False, this unit is just too plain loud for a bedroom. For a kitchen or living room, sure. For a bedroom, look elsewhere.

Loud and Not Cool
Bought this to compliment my 6000 btu unit in the front of the house and that unit does a much better job then this. It also say this unit is quieter? Not at all. I have to turn my home theater system to a very loud volume to hear. Would not buy an Artic King unit again. Selling

Instructions are iffy at best, Horrible whining sound. Took a while but put 2 small shims between casing and core on the outside. No more whining! A little noisy but if you want cold air at a good price, go for it.
