What is the size of this? We need an 11 inch handle for our door
It's about 12 1/2 inches long in total. The distance between the thumb lever and the screw at the bottom is about 8 inches. Hope that helps :)

How do we know if the inside handle will face the correct direction? I don't see an option for left/right.

Can i get a back door simple set that works off the same key with this front door set?
Weiser model # GLC9471 BDH/BLM11P S is a SmartKey product. If the existing front door set is also a Smartkey product and the house keys are compatible (KW1 or KW10 type) keys, then you can use the SmartKey technology to rekey them. SmartKey products can be re-keyed at the consumer level by following the re-keying instructions, but is not compatible with other brands. The SmartKey product can also be easily identified by the small slot next to the keyway.

There is screw head at the bottom of the handle. Do you provide any cover to make it looks good? such as plastic cover at the same color of the handle. thanks
The picture is a little misleading. The handle I purchased had a screw which matched the colour of the handle set. It blends in perfectly.

The the lock lock have a deadbolt or do you need a key to lock from the inside
Weiser GLC9471 BDH/BLM11P S Brentwood SmartKey Residential Single-Lock Keyed Door Handleset, deadbolt is keyed on the exterior and has a turn piece on the interior.

Weiser GLC9471 BDH/BLM11P This model is sold together with the handle and the deadbolt. It is suggested to keep the deadbolt as a spare if needed in the future.

Beware of smartkey locks
I just purchased three smartkey locksets and a new set of keys to have all locks on one key plus spares keys since these locks come with only two keys. Re-keying the locks was simple once I went to the internet for instructions. However, within 20 minutes two of the three locks no longer worked and they can't be re-programmed. There is an easy way to fix the problem, but you have to buy a gadget from Weiser and this won't solve the unreliable feature of these locks (if you get locked out of your house, the Weiser gadget won't be of any use. With only one door that can lock from outdoors, I have to leave one door unlocked when I go out to avoid getting locked out of my own house. This defeats the purpose of installing locks to your doors in the first place.

THE Bronze has been disappearing and the handle is turning green in color.

Poor quality, broke after 6 months
I installed this about 6 month ago. Today, it was about -7C and the lock broke and I got stock outside with my children. I had to pay 200$ for a locksmith to come and drill the thing and get back inside. As of someone who just witness how easy it was for him to open the door, call me not impressed by Weiser products. The locksmith explained to me tha he is not selling these products because of the cheap metal used inside... Buyers, please beware.
For more details, what happened was the slider stopped moving when I was turning the key. The metal part between the key mechanism and the slider just broke. So there was nothing else to do but to drill the front and get to the slider mechanism which was slide back to unlock with a screwdriver.
The impressive thing was that it was only slightly more difficult to drill the keyhole than some hardwood!! I did not feel safe at all after seeing this.
What I find disturbing is that Rona is selling such poor quality products. With the ratings (now) on such a product, and the fact that a locksmith’s analisys reveals such poor quality, I would expect Rona to find another supplier, or at least, remove such poor quality products from its shelves. I am a bit disappointed by this...

Low quality handle set
I expected with $140 would be good quality but I was wrong.
The dead bold was quite flimsy, did not feel solid and the knob has a lot of play.
The outside handle with pressing pad was not smooth and required a lot of pressing force. The inside handle was leaking cold air from outside, I could feel cold air at outside 0C, I can not imagine when -40C , probably ice will build up around handle.
I would return it If I could.

Terrible qualité du produit, plusieurs pièces sont mal conçues et il va falloir les remplacer au bout de 2 ans avec une utilisation normale. Le métal des pièces qui bougent se ronge avec le temps. La garantie est à vie FAIR enough et le customer service aussi mais la qualité de produit est lamentable

Not the best quality!!
I had this lock and handle set installed approximately 15 months ago and the outside thumb button broke inside the door . Had to be replaced!!
