When can I get this in Milton or Mississauga or Burlington ?
what is the weight of the chair in llbs please? The chair will be in a windy location so I do not want it to move.
What are the dimensions of this chair?
For storage in the winter, can 2 or 3 be stacked ?

Great value but difficult instructions/assembly
I was so pleased to find an affordable Muskoka chair. Having built a lot of assembly required furniture, I figured I’d do well putting these together. But holy smokes, the instructions need some better diagrams and more steps. The angles didn’t always line up, the sides marked left were actually right, and on some pieces, the pre-drilled marker holes were nowhere to be found. Some pieces were unequal sizes and the back curve is frustratingly uneven.
However, now that the three chairs are done, they are comfy, lovely to look at, and I feel good about not adding further plastic to the environment.

Easy to put together, looks good
I bought 4 of these and wanted to stain in colour. I used Sico and although not recommended by Sico, I decided to protect using polyurethane. If you want the chairs to stand few seasons, you have to do it, one rainfall and some will start cracking. Pine is not a very strong wood, so protect it. I pre-sanded for smoother painting, stained, protected and sanded once again.
Looks very good.

Great Purchase
For someone who enjoys DIY’s, this was a great buy. It’s definitely a full weekend project- one day of sanding and assembling, the following day to stain/paint (then additional time to weather proof). I can however see how some people would struggle with this project. If you aren’t the hands on type, I’d find someone who could help you. It will save you from swearing in frustration. I’m happy with the way they came out! Considering purchasing another 2 next summer.

Ok
The directions are horrible. The first one was built as instructed and did not match the picture because it tells you to do one part upside down. So we changed it for the next 3. Then there were different kinds of screws in another one so we had to make sure the really long ones were in a place where no one would get poked accidentally. While it might be comfortable and affordable your marriage might not survive!

Excellent Value
Bought 2 of these Muskoka Chair Kits for the backyard. The price was excellent, especially since other stores were selling similar kits for more. Building them was mostly straightforward. There is a video on youtube of someone building this exact chair. Trickiest part was probably lining up the 5 back support pieces to form a perfect arc. Mine didn't turn out perfectly but that's okay, it is pretty close and has that outdoor rustic feel. You may want to stain the chairs and give them a quick sand with some fine sandpaper, but I left them as is, and am happy with the results. For the price and the decent quality these were a great buy.

Relatively easy to build and customize.
I was looking for an adirondack chair in a lime green colour and found by mid July they were sold out every place I looked, including on-line. I saw a completed chair kit at my Lowe's store and thought, "How hard could it be?" The directions were easy to follow but the diagrams could have been slightly better. The company should consider a youtube video that might really help a rookie visualize the finished product..Having never built anything in my life, the first chair took me (embarassingly) considerably longer to build than the second. My only regret is that I didn't take the time to prime and paint the pieces before putting the chair together. It's more difficult to paint slats after the chair is built. I love the end result though, it's exactly what i wanted.

I love these chairs!
I bought a pair of these Bear Chair Muskoka / Adirondack chairs, and I think they're great. With just a power drill to make driving the screws in easier, I was able to assemble them right first time around. The pieces are well cut, fit together properly, and have all the starter holes drilled in the right places. The instructions are clear. I like that they provide a few extra screws. I recommend, as they say in the instructions, to take the time to sand the pieces first; it makes the finished product look terrific. We primed and painted ours with a good quality outdoor paint, and now we have a pair of classic Canadian-flag-red chairs for the dock at the cottage, fulfilling a long-term dream of mine. Very happy!

Needs sanding
Thought the chair looks good once assembled. Not the easiest to assemble but pre-drilled holes help. Should have minimal knowledge of construction to even attempt to assemble this chair! Regret not sanding the pieces before I stained them(stain before assembly) because arm rests are ruff.
