Description
Cette boîte de jonction Kraloy sert à protéger les circuits électriques contre l'altération intempestive et les conditions environnementales défavorables. Fabriquée en PCV moulé non conducteur et anticorrosion, la boîte de jonction est classifiée NEMA 1, 2, 3R, 4, 4X, 6, 6P, 12 et 13 pour une protection supérieure. Elle est homologuée CSA et certifiée selon la norme binationale UL50/50. Conçue pour être installée avec un système de conduits rigides non métalliques, la boîte de jonction est homologuée pour l'utilisation à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur. Elle comprend un couvercle plat de style boîte à chaussures, ainsi que des attaches imperdables et des joints d'étanchéité en PCV.

Electrical Connection Box
This seems to be a good item. It looks and feels like what I expected and has the room I believe I need to accomplish the intended purpose. The reason I am giving 2 stars is that in order to make the item useful the store needs to have the associated items available. Unfortunately, this store seems to run low on a lot of items and it takes them quite a while to restock. I was looking for a 1 inch screw in connector and screw tightener and they had everything except this item. I might have been able to get what I wanted in metal, but I don't like to mix materials and it wouldn't have worked the way it was intended.

Solar Perfect !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this to create a weather proof solar PV connection area for a mobile solar panel trailer. I drilled out 1/2 inch holes for the MC4 connectors from the panel wires to connect directly to the box (DC in). I then cut a square hole on the bottom of the box (and sealed it) to make a 'Quick Connection' for DC out using Battery Quick-Connect Wire Harness Plugs such as these: https://www.ebay.com/bhp/battery-quick-connect-plug , all connected via a Buss Bar. It works perfectly AND doesn't get wet inside !

There where not any installation instructions included. Not sure how the packaged "tabs" were to be used. The screw heads do not fit a #2 phillips tight. Otherwise it appears to be weather tight and better than a steel box for exterior usage.

Great for outdoor Security Camera connections
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product to keep my security camera cable fittings dry and out of the elements. It has a rubber gasket around the lid and it is sturdy and bolts securely to block Wood or any other substrate that you would like to use. I will purchase this product again

Outdoor Protection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked great as Electrical connection protector. Only thing I would have different, would be to be able to open without a screwdriver, maybe something like a flip open cover with a latch. Luckily, it should be rare to have to access the contents.
