Le marteau combiné Bosch RH540M de 1 9/16'' (4 cm) SDS-max® est une combinaison de marteau perforateur ou marteau seul, conçue pour les professionnels du béton et les rénovateurs qui exigent un outil puissant et polyvalent. Il fournit une énergie de frappe de 6,1 pi/lb et ne pèse que 15,2 livres. Le moteur présente une valeur nominale de 170 à 340 tr/min en mode perforateur et de 1 200 à 2 750 BPM en mode marteau, ce qui réduit facilement le béton en poussière. Le système de foret SDS-max® permet de changer les forets d'une seule main sans outil. Le mécanisme Vario-Lock(TM) permet aux utilisateurs de régler l'angle du ciseau en 12 différents positions pour minimiser l'angle de travail. Le marteau est équipé d'un bouton de sélection à deux modes et de brosses service minder, qui indiquent clairement à quel moment il faut effectuer un entretien préventif.

Modular home tie downs
I had to replace the tie down system on a modular home before I could sell it. The work needed to be done in a very tight crawl space and it was hard to find a Contractor who would do the job. The one I found wanted 3000 to do it. I was worried about boring into the old concrete footers to install the tie down rachets. I had 18 holes to drill. Due to the cramped nature of the crawl space, it was difficult to put any downward pressure on the drill. Virtually NO pressure was required. The weight of the tool did the work. This tool allowed us to drill the holes in 1 hour! Putting in the straps and anchors took another 3. After the cost of the tool, bit and tie down material, I saved 2000, and now I have a great tool in my arsenal for future use. Outstanding piece of equipment! Highly recommended.

I bought one of these 10 years ago and it was time to get another one as the motor is having trouble, so I got another one. I am a plumber and I used this for chipping into the floor to change out tub drains and shower drains in the floor, and drilling into walls for new drain holes. Typically, I used this about five times a month for 2-4 hours at a time (I would give it a break for 10 minutes every 20-25 minutes to cool). This lasted me a year and one month before the motor burned out, and I had no problems up until this point.
I sent this in to be replaced at the Lowe's where I purchased it (with an extended 4-year warranty) and they shipped it to their repair facilities. Two weeks later they call and tell me that because I have used this for commercial use the warranty is void and the cost to change the motor is around $220. They tell me that the extended warranty should not have been offered since a business was buying this tool, and they will refund me that cost.
I am not sure why someone would buy this for personal and not commercial use as it makes much more sense to rent one of these if you are doing a home project (rental typically around $200-250 for a week).
Overall the product itself was okay. I would not recommend this to a professional, and the warranty is nonsense and disappointing.

I wanted to redo my bathroom. I swung my hammer like John Henry and got nowhere. That tile did not move. When I used that tool ,the tile came off with ease. It can get away from you so take your time.

Premature failure
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a professional electrician. I bought this tool about two years ago. Used it once every couple of months when I had to get through a foundation wall or drive a ground rod. Took maybe six uses before it failed on me.

Great Purchase

Great for installing grounding rods
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit with the proper attached tool makes installing eight foot grounding rods easy. The cost is about the same as renting a tool for a week.

So far so good
I've only used it once so take that into consideration. I used it with a shovel attachment to remove a palm tree stump. I admit I was surprise at the ease of it.
