Spool does not fit CMCSST910 as advertised
I purchased the CMCST910 string trimmer a couple months ago and have been impressed with the battery life and cutting ability. It handles edging along chicken wire type fencing and other hard materials. However I finally got to the end of the line and had purchased the CRAFTSMAN recommended pre-wound replacement spools. Immediately the line advanced stopped working. After a few hours I discovered the new pre-wound lines didn't fit properly onto this trimmer. These new spools fit a little tighter and prevented the line feed mechanism from working. I re wound the new line onto the old spool and it works like a charm. I'd recommend not getting the pre-wound spools until craftsman gets their act together

Do not fit properly
Purchased the Model #CMCST910M1 cordless weed eater and was extremely happy with the performance. Cuts as good as a gas-powered and battery life was surprisingly good. Was a bit skeptical about the single string as opposed to the normal double, but it worked well. As time and use went on I came to the point of replacing the string spool...thought that I was being smart and purchased the 3 pack of quick-change spools...THESES DO NOT FIT AT ALL...I had to bore out the center hole to make it fit. Not happy at all and very disappointed in the Craftsman brand. Thought I was buying a good brand...well, it used to be a good brand. Not sure I will continue to buy this brand in the future.

How much is your time worth?
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience is that it takes about 20 minutes to remove an empty spool, wind it with bulk trimmer line, and replace the spool in your trimmer. That's a painful delay when you're trying to finish your yard work as quickly as possible. Having spares on hand is well worth the low cost of this 3-pack!

Snaps on and snaps off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Craftsman weed eater spools work pretty efficiently. The come off and pop on quite easily and the trimmer feeds effortlessly too. They cost me 20- for three of them.

I particularly liked that the product is available, as I have a trimmer that uses this line. Nothing is more frustrating than to have a product that needs refills or continuing supplies, and you can't get them. I hope these stay available for some time. I use trimmer line fast because I trim against brick and stone.

Craftsman quality a thing of the past.
Once upon a time Craftsman products were better than average quality ... Not anymore! These spools did not work properly. They fit the machine but would not feed. I had to unwind the replacement spools and used the trimmer cord to rewind the original spool. The solution (or so I thought) was to just purchase .080 twisted trimmer line to rewind the spool. Turns out the original line is NOT .080 inches but, approximately .067 inches. That caused problems. Worst trimmer experience I've ever had. I doubt Craftsman will come to mind the nest time I go shopping.
