How high can your deck be to use this product? I can't seem to find an answer online. Hopefully its more then 2 feet as my deck is 4 feet. Thanks
I used for 2ft high deck.
For 4 ft high deck maybe you need
more reinforcing at surface mounting
area for rigidity.
Because mounting bolt depth is 3 1/2 inches and deck board is thin(usually 1 to 1.5 inch).
I put 2×8 lumber for blocking.
You better ask manufacturing company
for code compliant of this usage for your applications.

It doesn’t fit the 4x4 what do I do?
Hello,
When the 4x4 post are new from the store they are sip of treatment liquid, which make them inflate and go 5-5/8" and over.
After an week or two the sip liquid will get out of the post and will go back to 3-½" x 3-½" in diameter and the Base 44 will go over easily.

Great, But...
Bought these bases and there was no instruction that you actually need another piece (sold separately) in order to properly mount your post. If the other part is needed, it should be sold as a set. I'm aggravated because this means another trip to the store, and we have to unscrew to add this thing and re-mount our posts.

They work well
These work well but don't forget to get the bottom plate that SHOULD be sold with them! The bottom plate has 4 holes to screw into the bottom of the 4x4 and 4 holes to screw to the deck, And dont forget to put the base on first and slide it up the 4x4.
