Description
Le barbecue au gaz à 5 brûleurs Char-Broil(MD) Performance Series(MC) vous offre une multitude de caractéristiques pratiques pour une expérience de cuisson hautement polyvalente. Doté d'une surface de cuisson totalisant 660 pouces carrés et d'un brûleur latéral, ce gril vous permet de préparer jusqu'à 36 hamburgers à la fois. Le plateau Chef's Delite inclus avec le gril vous permet de cuisiner les aliments les plus délicats. Ce gril est facile à assembler et dispose d'un système d'allumage électronique pour assurer des démarrages fiables. Les tablettes latérales sont conçues pour accomoder les accessoires Gear Trax(MC) afin de bien organiser votre espace de travail (accessoires vendus séparément). I like to barbeque beercan chicken. Is there enough height for that? I don't mind removing the warming rack if needed but want to make sure it's tall enough over the cooking grid with the lid shut. How tall is it?

Improved construction
Assembled the whole thing with a Phillips screwdriver, the screws seat into machine threads making it a snap to put together. Either they upgraded the design or it's better quality than previous Char-Broil grills (our last grill I bought two of, one was used just for parts since the replacement parts cost more than a new grill over the years). In this model, even the burner tubes can be removed for cleaning since they're attached with hitch pins. The grease tray and grease pan slide out for cleaning. Hoping it'll last since it's much easier to keep clean. Haven't used it too much yet, but I suspect performance is going to be great like previous Char-Broil grills.

Not hot enough
Excited to get it, unfortunately Lowe’s keeps all their grills outside which means this one had some rust, I’m fine with knocking it off but come on not when I buy something “new”. Plugged the tank in, fired it up on high all burners, waited a while before throwing steaks on, looked at the built in thermostat and it plateaus at 275ish. I thought well the thermostat might be bad and it’s also far from the grates let’s give it a try, throw the steaks on, barely any sizzle to it next clue. Wait 5-10 minutes to flip it because it did not feel that hot, normally I wait two minutes,and once I did, absolutely no sear on it whatsoever.

Great Purchase
Purchased this grill on sale, which made it very appealing compared to other lower cost options. The goods, the grill looks and works fantastic, starts up and heats really quickly, most of the time we only need a couple burners on low to keep temp in optimal cooking range. The Cons, if you purchase the grill unassembled as I did, needed it to fit in our mid-size SUV to get home, the instructions are severely lacking. parts are also hidden inside other parts in the packing and nothing has numbers corresponding to the pics in instructions so assembly was an hour long challenge. Overall I would definitely recommend the grill, it was a great purchase and we hope to enjoy it for a long time

Dont buy if you like to sear items
Ok, so this is my opinion strictly. I like to have high heat to sear items. You cannot do this with this grill. The burners are to far away. You will waste good money whenyou buy some good steaks and cant get a great sear and crust. Yes you can get this grill to 650 degrees inside the cover, but that does not sear food. The side burner is decent, but again cannot get pans super hot and maintain a boil. I am sorry to not be able to recommend this. The grill functions fine. The size and features are good. But no sear means not for me!!

Can't rotisserie.
When we looked at the grill it appeared to be made to accept a rotisserie kit, and we wanted to try rotisserie cooking. Once we got it home I went to Char-Broil.com and found 3 rotisserie kit 2 were for dedicated grills and one was universal. I bought the universal kit which will bolt up to the grill but you can't close the lid. I called Char-Broil , only to find out they don't make a kit for this grill. Their advice was for me to try to find a different brand rotisserie kit that might work. So I either go through the hassle of returning the grill and the kit, or modify the lid. Which I did ( shouldn't of had to)but I did and now I can rotisserie cook.

Great grill; Review Page 52 BEFORE first usage!

This grill has all the features I want in a gas grill with a ton of capacity. You have a side burner, warming grill, and even an extra basket grill for foods that would otherwise fall through. Happy with the results.
I read the 1 star reviews complaining about weak flame and not getting over 200-250F. Unfortunately the instructions for this are buried HALFWAY into the manual. When you first start, because the line is full of air and this is a big grill you may trip the safety in the regulator. This will result in the grill operating but very weak.
When you first start the grill, turn on the propant SLOWLY with the burners all off. Then turn on ONLY the first burner and make sure you get a really solid at least 1 inch blue flame when starting the left most burner on full. Then move down the line.
If this all works, you're golden!
If not, follow the steps on page 52 to resolve this issue. I would ask Char-Broil to move the Getting Started to the front of their manuals. Most people will just assemble and want to use the grill. I understand safety is key, but putting the start up guide behind everything BUT the troubleshooting guide will likely end up causing a lot of customer frustration with this grill.

Value for the Price
Decent value for the price. One drawback is that there is a gap in the back of the bbq where heat escapes. When the lid is closed the bbq does not get as hot as it could because heat comes out the backside. Keep it a few feet from a wall so it doesn't get the wall too hot, especially if wood.
Also the removable top grate does not retract when you open the bbq so it is hard to get food to the back of the main bbq. I have just removed this for convenience since it gets in the way. I may put it back if I plan to use it.

They offered free assembly and then didn't do it.
It takes about 2 hours to put it together. So if they offer free assembly, MAKE them do it.
