Description
Profitez des saveurs incomparables que procurent les viandes grillées au charbon grâce à ce barbecue Char-Griller Legacy. Il est muni d'un jauge de température en acier inoxydable qui régule la chaleur à l'intérieur, vous n'avez donc pas à ouvrir le couvercle à moitié pendant la cuisson. La conception isolante en acier à triple parrois conserve la chaleur à l'intérieur du gril pendant la cuisson afin de rehausser le goût de vos viandes. De plus, vous pouvez facilement positionner le plateau à charbon au niveau de chaleur souhaitée grâce à la manivelle d'ajustement intégrée. Le gril comprend un récipient à cendres amovible ainsi que deux roulettes verrouillables et robustes. Ce produit est couvert par une garantie limitée de 5 ans sur le boîtier et une garantie limitée d'un an sur les autres pièces.

The manual states not to take this grill over 400F. Can you confirm if this is true? It seems super low
I've owned this grill this entire summer, (Since fathers day and now as I write this, its October.) I have taken this grill up to 600F to clean the grill and there's no problems with it going over 400F.

Awesome grill...
I don't understand where the negative reviews are coming from. I put this thing together in about one hour. Everything was well packaged and nicely padded. All parts went together as described without any effort. If you follow the instructions to the letter, you will have a very high quality charcoal grill that is easy to clean. The heating is very uniform and temperature is very controllable. If I had anything negative to say, it would be the adhesive they use to stick the plastic bags on some of the metal parts. It was a little hard to remove, but finally came off with charcoal fluid. I love this grill and highly recommend it. 5*****+++

So far so good!
I have used this grill 3 times so far. The cooking space is great. I can sear a steak perfect and move it to the good sized top rack to finish indirect. A little learning curve getting used to a different brand grill, temp control is good now. Only 3 things that I do not like, I would have liked to see it made out of a little thicker steel. But it works, We will see how it holds temp this winter. The other item it the hinge stops for the lid. They seem a little on the weak side. Like if you open it too fast, you might bend the hinges. Last item is the lid not sealing well. Which is an easy fix, I already ordered the gasket rope to remedy that.

Best non-commercial grill
I spent 6 years as a meat cutter and BBQ Caterer in Louisville, KY, working 6' and 18' commercial charcoal grills for mobile cookouts. The Master Forge Char-Griller is the closest I have found in years of using other, less capable grills. It is heavy duty, holds the heat, adjustable for grilling everything from hot dogs to steaks. By utilizing the adjustable charcoal grate and the upper level meat grate, it has worked extremely well on slow cooking ribs, whole beef briskets, pork shoulders and whole chickens. I am trying to buy another one as I write this.

Very pleased
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I am very pleased with the grill. Everything seems well built. I have used it 5 times so far and have no actual complaints, but there are two areas of concern. The charcoal holding platform warped after during the first use. This is not yet an issue, and may never actually matter, but could signal a future failure point. The tab that the crank handle pushes on has some flex and play in it which could also fail the future. Still very pleased with the overall quality. The porcelain or enamel coated cast iron grilling surface is a plus!

I’ve had this grill for awhile now and it’s still chugging. Use it 3 seasons out of the year in a cold climate and keep it covered. No rust yet, except for typical corrosion of the ash pan and box. Even the grates are still good. It keeps good heat and one can control it fairly well using the dampeners and stack. What i like most about it is the ability to add more charcoal or wood when already fired up (door to the firebox). I have no complaints especially for the price. I’d buy another in a heartbeat.

BEST GRILL I EVER OWNED
Bought this grill about 2 weeks ago and have been using it since. Plenty of room to cook a few different things, hand crank to raise/lower charcoal bed ( very super convenient ) and 2 side trays which I always need to use. The grill is built very sturdy, rolls easily & you can lock 2 wheels. Tray under charcoal bed pulls out easily to clean ashes. Grates are heavy duty, I expect them to last a long time compared to wire cooking surface on less expensive grills. As I said above, BEST GRILL I EVER OWNED.

Horrible Product
poor quality material and construction.
The additional firebox to make the assembly a smoker was effective. The hinges for the front door flap were welded in an angle!
The main unit had too many design flaws. One was the charcoal bed level activator mechanism. The tip of the worm gear was chewing on the strike plate's rivet. The whole assembly was flimsy as well. Any weight from the charcoal would have induced binding on the arms that lift the bed.
The upper chimney was also held by sheet metal screws that applied against a thin layer of metal. It would simply be a matter of time for that to fall off.
At this time, I would rather build a fire pit in the yard!

Great grill
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For everyday grilling this is a fantastic grill. The ability to move the charcoal up and down is very useful. This can be used for smoking as well but before you can use it for that, it has a lot of areas that need sealed up with either high temp silicone or fiber glass high heat seals. Once sealed, smoking is a breeze! I am going to purchase the side mount firebox for it and make it a texas style smoker. This is really a great, versatile grill at a great price.
