Are you able to put a dado stack on this saw
No, arbor is too short for a dado stack.
I believe the 7491rs is dado blade compatible.

My First Table Saw
This is the first table saw I've ever purchased. I did lots of research and came to the conclusion that this was the product for me. I looked at the 10" table saw and was a bit leary of the availability of 8.5" blades but ultimately decided that this saw would surpass my needs as a DIY, garage woodworker. This saw ran perfectly right out the box. The fence is 100% straight. The only time I got a bad cut was when I neglected to ensure the fence was properly resting in the back notch (my goof).
I've always trusted the Dewalt name. It goes back to my dad being an electrician and only using Dewalt products. I don't mind paying the extra money for the Dewalt name as I know I am purchasing a quality product.

Nearly very good
So this is in general a well built and high quality product.
But there are a few snags which need to be addressed
The instructions are the pits. Badly written and confusing. OK in the end you sort it out, but why are the diagrams and part identifications on a different page requiring much page turning back to understand?
The miter gauge is rubbish. Way too much slop on the fit, making repeatability an issue when used for making good quality items. Probably OK for a job site if you don't mind your house not to be upright! Shame because this could be a good saw for accurate carpentry.
Well built in general, sturdy and durable.

Excellent Little Compact Fireball!
I have use it for a couple of days for a total of about 10 hours and I'm very impressed. I've moved from a Bosch 4100, which was giving me alignment issues which was causing major frustration. The wife on my back, so I decided to try a Dewalt. Couldn't find the 745 and decided on the DWE7485. Glad I did. I'm use to using a 10" blade but wasn't opposed to to a smaller. If your in the trade of construction and carpentry, I can understand it. I'm just into woodworking. I have a one car garage shop, so it fits very well. If your in the market you can't go wrong. There will always be haters and naysayers who just love to be negative. If it's not for you find another brand. This is my first Dewalt purchase though I have been using the product for over 15 years for work.

Great Saw
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got mine delivered a couple days ago. Bought the saw because I had to rip 12’ pieces of shiplap. Saw did awesome on these long cuts. Blade did nice clean cuts. The legs being outward and flat on top made it easy to clamp down (not sure it really needed to because it felt pretty sure footed already). Like that all the accessories have locations on the saw to be stored. like also that saw base and guard both have vacuum connections. Push stick was included. Other reviews of the previous model said the miter jig was loose and plastic. But this one is all aluminum/steel and had no slop-fit well. Only wish it could use a dado. Really think a great saw for the money.

Great little saw.
Fantastic product. Does everything it's supposed to do and does it very well. Great rip capacity, and the fence adjustment is dead on accurate. I bought this to build our kitchen island, in conjunction with my chop saw. You can do almost everything with that combination, and a couple of foldable worktables.
Watch out for price drops, which only last a couple days. Not sure what that's all about. Get a screenshot of it (I didn't ), and you should be alright.

Awesome saw with a few minor setbacks
Bought my saw 2 months ago and I love it. A must have for any workshop! Aside from a few mino-r setbacks, only that it will not accept a Dado Blade and you can only rip to a 24" width. But for an " saw its ideal. A friend of mine who is a professional carpenter for one of Canada's major restoration companies put me onto this saw as it will provide me with everything I need. I do boat restoration work on the side and have found it compatible for the type of work I do. Only wish that it had a physical lock out feature on the power switch. Therefore I place a luggage padlock through the hole on the prong of the power cord when not in use.

Awesome little saw
You can't use a dado set, but for everything else this saw is a gem! I particularly love the rack & pinion fence system, and the way it adjusts out wide for panel cuts.
The table footprint is small, so for large panels you'll need infeed- and outfeed-support, but you should have those anyway.
I love this little guy. The one design flaw I see is that the lever which controls tilt tends to vibrate loose, causing the blade to drop slightly out of square. Solved that problem by jamming a couple of rubber erasers into the groove behind it. (But it's a good idea to check for square before using it, in any case.)

Great saw
I have a lot of experience with table saws; both smaller saws and the big industrial saws. I have worked jobs running a saw for 40 hours per week. I must say this saw is the smoothest and quietest cutting I have ever used. The fence system is novel and right on the money. The table is coated so that it doesn't rust. The saw is small and lightweight but huge in capability. I look forward to using it. I would highly recommend.
