Offrant un ensachage efficace et un travail propre, ce bac récupérateur de série 100 par John Deere s'installe facilement en 5 minutes sans l'utilisation d'outils. Conçu pour les tracteurs de jardin avec plateau de coupe de 48 pouces, il convient aux modèles John Deere S140-S170, E140-E170; D140-D160; LA145, LA165, LA130, LA140. La goulotte basse permet une circulation fluide de l'herbe afin de réduire les chances d'obstruction. De plus, les sacs à mailles larges durables en polyester ont une capacité de 6,5 boisseaux (229 l) et permettent une plus grande circulation d'air pour un remplissage complet du sac lorsque le gazon est mouillé et lourd. Ils sont munis de poignées et se retirent facilement. Les produits John Deere(MD) sont offerts et vendus seulement chez les détaillants autorisés.

There has to be a better option out there!
Assembly if pretty straight forward that was the one thing I liked but even then had to research torque specs for the blades that was not in the manual. The biggest issue is that tubing plugs very easily and would recommend some sort of blower to fix this issue. The bags fill extremely fast for the size of mower emptied at least 20 times for a yard that was barely a half Acre. For the price more should be expected like an additional blower to fix the plugging issue. I had to take apart at least 5 times to unplug and re install.

Complete junk. The cap doesn't come all the way up. The baggers have plastic rims not steel rims. The lower part of the chute connects with a clip pin not a bungie strap like the old ones. So when the chute bogs up, you need a tool to remove it and clean it out. Real pain! I wished I could get replacement parts for my old bagger.

Life saving system
I have 3 acres of yard with trees all over them and this system has been a life saver! Easy to install, just make sure you watch and monitor your bag fill height, if you let it overfill the tube system backs up and takes a few mins to clear. Watch through the viewing window, empty frequently and it will take good care of you.

Easy to use, difficult to mount to the mower deck
This bagger was designed for a John Deere mower with 48" deck, like my new S140 model. It was reasonable easy to mound, all with no tools required (as advertised). I have mowed once and the bagger left my lawn clean and debris fee, cutting my grass and weeds as well as sucking up small sticks, pine cones, and pine needles. It is a major labor saver, with bags which mount and dismount easily.
The only reason I rated it a 4 rather than a 5 was a problem I had with attaching the initial plastic chute to the discharge area. My hands were not strong enough (I am age 71) to easily stretch the elastic bands and metal clips to the attach points on the deck. After using a screwdriver for leverage, I managed to get it securely connected. The rest of the assembly and mounting was a breeze.

The overall assembly was very simple and straightforward, and installing the new blades wasn't too hard either (just jack up the front of the mower and everything is pretty accessible, no need to completely remove the desk).
My only complaint is that even though this kit is supposed to be for the S140 tractor, and the picture even shows the exact mower I have, the lower chute I received does not even come close to lining up with the mower deck, and there doesn't seem to be any part # I can check to determine if I have the right piece or not.

Wow what a difference!
So I read the reviews and was a bit reluctant to pick this up but decided to anyways and here’s what I think. First off the process is pretty straight forward, I had zero issues. I was pleased by the quality of the parts, heavy plastics mixed with heavy metals. Once assembled I was able to install the blades by removing the deck, I had 25hrs on my S170 at this point which allowed me to clean the deck, re grease the Z’s and install the blades. Everything up to this point looked great for the tractor. Once I fired it up and compared the vacuum with with the high lift blades compared to without....the vacuum was substantially greater maybe double or triple. As for the first mowing experience I must say the tractor is now a giant vacuum and the the lawn is spotless with beautiful stripes! I noticed the grass clippings are much shorter compared to my old side discharge and my deck is very clean underneath. I would totally recommend this to anyone who owns the 24hp, like I said the s170 absolutely sucks everything up without any clogging! Amazing

Best thing ever
I have been wanting a bagger for awhile now, & I finally got this one! The price is expensive, but you get what you pay for. Upon opening the box, I found it very easy to navigate what goes where. I read the instructions & it was very simple. It only took me about 10 minutes to put it all together. This was my first time doing this also. Never have using a bagger, I wondered why it took me so long to get one. This thing picked everything up, no leftover grass anywhere. I thought that it would fill up fast, but it kept going. Now I have 3 acres & only had to empty twice. One thing to keep an eye on is if you have thick weeds or if mowing when there is still dew on the ground, it will clog up. This wasn’t a big deal, as it was easy to take off & put back on. All in all, this is a great, innovative accessory. I am so glad I got one!

John Deere 48" 100 Series Rear Bagger
I read many reviews and some had problems with bagger collecting grass or leaves and at first I had problem but realized I needed to slow down with speed of tractor and the lid was not going down completely because the plastic tab at the center of the bagger just above the bags was sticking so lid did not close completely. Once I realize the lid issue, bagger did a great job. I also only bagged when grass and leaves were dry so had no problems with chute stopping up. Also, important to use the bagging or high lift blades when using the bagger. Glad I watched YouTube video for assembly since instructions were lacking in my opinion. Would prefer a 3 bag system but this works so more exercise stopping to empty the 2 bags.
