We have four of these set out throughout our basement. Each morning for the past three days we have checked them only to find that the bait (gobs of peanut butter) had been licked clean from all of the "pressure plates", and not one of them had been triggered. So now we have some very fat, happy mice running around -- and they're probably telling all of their buddies to come over to the sweet, new, all-you-can-eat buffet that they discovered. The traps were all set correctly. The triggering mechanism simply isn't sensitive enough -- or we have some very skilled and clever mice. My no-kill tip-trap had been far more effective (and preferable, as killing the mouse isn't necessary).

I've used the old Victor quick set traps and they were great but this new style does not activate. Bait has be gone about 6 times and the trap hasn't activated yet. I want the old style back.
