Question for the paver installation
I read your review, and wonder if your contractor installed the lights in the designed configuration. These lights, by the description are designed for "steps, posts and borders" - all of which would be VERTICAL installations so any water (rain, sprinkler, etc) would not enter the fixture.
If your contractor installed them so they face UP out of the pavers (which would indeed look really cool), I suspect the trouble is water getting into lights that were not designed for being "submerged".
Not trying to cause a rift in your relationship, but it would be helpful to know the exact orientation of the lights...

Reliability is the issue with these lights
Purchased these low voltage led lights and had them installed in pavers. The claim is they never need replacing. Our contractor said they would last 8000 hours. Neither is true. Out of 18 lights that we had installed about a year and a half ago 4 of them no longer work.
The light itself looks very cool in the pavers but if I have to replace them every 2 years it wasn't worth it.
Steer clear, quality is poor.

Flush mount lighting
This product is great for steps and deck lighting. It is smmoth and provides sufficient brightness for night time use. We did have to purchase a few extra due to the wiring not being long enough to reach from one section to the next.

Super facile
J’ai acheté 7 kits, que j’ai plugger en série, c’est super facile à installer. J’ai enlevé le capteur de lumière, pour les plugger sur une switch, et ça fonctionnait N°1. Ils ont une très belle lumière blanche, un peu éblouissante, mais très jolie.

Garbage
Never seen LED with such a terrible lifespan. I even coated the connections with dilectric grease for added protection. Dont waste your time and money.
