Description

Fantastic tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the MM50-01 for close to a month now. I am in the middle of refinishing 20 pieces of outdoor mahogany furniture for a client. And it has been great to use in the some of the tight areas a normal sander can't fit. Also have used to flush cut dowels to cover screw holes in the furniture. It is much lighter than an older multi-tool that I have had
One of the downfalls at this time and it my be my fought for not looking to see if there was a smaller extension finger like to get into really tight areas that would be able to clear the motor area and still reach into tighter spaces.

Amazing Tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They should rename this to the "Amazing Tool". There are so many projects and tasks that this tool can do, it is nothing short of amazing. I do construction work during my day job, and I have found myself reaching for the Dremel many times for many tasks during the day. From cutting to sanding, this is one tool that can do it all. It is so easy to change the accessories, and in a snap I am ob to a different project. I love it so much, I take it home to help with tasks on my small farm as well. I am always looking for easier better ways to get jobs done, and this tool has helped me do just that! Yes...you need this tool!

Great for in close woodworking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was sent one of these to test, and while I am a huge fan of Dremel rotary tools, I am not enamored with the oscillating side of things. I used the tool to cut through some wood studs in a small divider wall, and it worked very well, much better than my Sawzall in tight spaces. I was not really impressed when it came to cutting metal. I used this to cut through some metal rivets on a scrap piece of AK receiver, and while it did cut through the rivets it took twice the time it took using my Dremel rotary tool. Overall, I would give this a good rating, but not a great rating for general usage.

Best i have used to date.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall it has a very solid and easy to grip body design. The angled head feels very natural while cutting and gives better control. The best feature is having the keyless accessory change. The locking pin is much flusher than others I have used. That helps greatly to prevent scratching a finished surface while making parallel flush cuts. Also cutting the tabs on projects from the cnc has been unbelievably helpful. Lastly the included accessories are all must haves and not just filler pieces.

Mighty MM50 machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my Dremel MultiMax MM50 a month ago and recently started using it. I used the Dremel on a mailbox rebuild project. The tool is light and easy to use. The setting knob was conveniently located and easy to dial. The MM50 came with a handy heavy duty bag and multiple blades. The issue I did have with the Dremel was the way the blade is installed and then maneuvered in a different position. No delays this time around but I'm sure if I'm cutting different positions, a quick disconnect/ connect would be ideal. Overall though, great tool to have for numerous needs.

Great for residential use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase the Dremel Multi-Max 5-Amp while converting an attic space into a media room. I had several places that required the removal of existing trusses. The Dremel tool was much less destructive then a sawzall. The product performed well and had plenty of blades to start.

Works good could be better.
I bought this about 4 months ago and I also went and bought another one like it but a different kind to cut with so same brand and they both ended up going out on me which is very disappointing because as a contractor last thing i need is for my tools to go out on me which were working on residential remodels or new construction so I am just upset with the fact that not just one of my tools for this brand but two of them went out around the same time. They work really good beside that fact of not lasting that long.
