Can I use it on the floor? Thx
I am not sure, we used it on our new maple cabinet builds for the kitchen. I would try to contact the manufacturer's customer service department and ask them. I am sure you can find them online.

Very bad product
Minwax has been in the wood finishing business forever and I assumed all of their products would be high quality. I used this on a bookcase and it looked horrible. It was blotchy and impossible to put on evenly. To make matters worse I bought more thinking I could cover it with a second coat. It was a waste of money and made it almost impossible to sand off so that I could do it right. If you buy this stuff, you will regret it.

results were not as expected. ended up going to the regular minwax stain and minwax polyurethane. that produced a much better result.

Minx PolyShades Antique Walnut Oil bases stain
I prepped my wood first with fine sandpaper, wet the wood with water and let dry to bring up the grain and sanded again. Required threee coats to get the dark color I was looking for. Steel wooled between coats, 6 hours apart. I can't recommend this stain for table tops that will be used for eating as the finish does not like hot cups or dishes placed upon it. The finish will get tacky with the heat of the dish. I experaminted by waiting a month by staining a scrap piece of wood and then placed a glass with water on it to see if water effected the finish by leaving water marks but fund hot cups left the stain tacky with a small bubble. The spot hardened within the hour but left a blemish in the finish. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Avoid using this product
I brought this product and tested on samples prior to finishing a larger project. I was Satisfied with the colour and application process on a smaller scale. On the actual project The colour and finish were extremely blotchy and could not be brushed out. Ruined the project. I read another review and it summed it up. “Polyshades is the Worst thing to ever happen to a paint can”

Stainer
I have used this color various times for painting my indoor cabinets. After three paint jobs on all cabinets, benches and bed frame, everything looks brand new with a glossy look, I would recommend this color for those do woodworking, sanding and a good touch of this paint will make products more attractable [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Very Hard to Work with
I have been finishing furniture for over 40 years and the is the worst product I have ever worked with.
The application is difficult since it is a combination of stain and poly.
There is little room for error and adjustments are impossible.
The results were blotchy and haphazard.
I will never use this product again and I have used lots of products.
