Excellent Dryer
I have never left a review before, but after our challenging time to try and find a replacement for our Fisher and Paykel set, I wanted to share with others so they too do not have to search near and far for a durable replacement. We had our prior washer and dryer for 14 years. I do not need all the bells and whistles on a dryer/washer set, I need it to clean and dry and do it well. I need it to do its job and hold up. This commercial grade dryer does just that! I am so pleased with both the dryer and washer combo set. You can not go wrong with either and they are made in the USA!! New dryer can't be fixed! (yet).
I bought this a month ago (Maytag Commercial) dryer. The automatic drying cycle (which uses moisture sensing) did not work when it was used for the first time - timer won't advance. Regular timed cycles are fine. Repairman replaced a resistor set for the autodry sensor inside, and it still didn't work. After another attempt, replacing the main motherboard, it still doesn't work. He is contacting Maytag now for information on how to fix it, having run out of ideas. A new dryer, supposedly top shelf model, taking weeks to fix, if they can. Then it will <probably> be ok, maybe even excellent. Alas, gremlins, the quality circles failed. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Works better than expected.
After living in an apartment with a 30 year old dryer this one is a quantum leap in technology. I moved into a new construction home with a straight run dryer vent. I find I am using low heat to dry almost everything. I only use medium heat when drying 4 sets of bath towels - bath towel, hand towel, & wash cloth,
I find this dryer to be quiet, it is the clothes tumbling with metal zipper pulls clanging against the tub. The end of cycle buzzer does work and will keep remind you if you picked the cycle to prevents wrinkles. This one I will be keeping for years. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Does what a dryer does best!
This dryer is solidly built and works faster than any other dryer I've owned. I've only used the medium setting on the temperature and it will dry a load of bath towels within 30 minutes. Bought washer and dryer
Bought washer to replace dead GE Profile. Maytag doesn’t have as big a tub, but it handles a king-size quilt well. Love the agitation. options are a little confusing. You can have normal or deep water. Normal doesn’t use much water and really should be labeled “small load.”
Dryer also has smaller space inside but does nice job. Quiet. Only thing I don’t like is the buzzer at the end. Don’t see how to turn it off. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Drys quickly & efficiently.
I bought this just over a month ago along with a matching washer. Replaced my old 31 year old dryer after my washer began to leak. This dryer is so quick. I dry my clothes in half the time as before. 20-30 minutes for wash & wear and 30 minutes for towels. I have been very impressed. The controls are plain & simple no fancy stuff. Turn a knob, push the button & done. Using low & ex low for all items. Very happy with purchase. Only regret is that I didn’t get it sooner. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We chose the commercial grade washer & dryer because of their features and feel they are better made. Have only had them a few weeks and am pleased so far. The dryer has a loud “get your attention “ buzzer that goes off when cycle completed. I need to review the manual to better understand the responses and see if I can shut it off.
