Description
Mastic acrylique siliconisé de qualité supérieure sans sable de Mapei. Ce mastic pour usage intérieur est facile à utiliser et formulé pour s'harmoniser parfaitement à la couleur et la texture des coulis Mapei. Il est nettoyable à l'eau, peinturable et résistant à la moisissure et aux champignons. Idéal pour remplir les vides jusqu'à 6 mm (1/4'') et refaire les joints de coulis fendillés ou défraîchis. Sert également de mastic autour des éviers, baignoires, douches, comptoirs et carreaux de céramique. Laisser sécher au moins 4 à 6 heures avant de peinturer et protéger de l'exposition à l'eau jusqu'au durcissement complet pendant au moins 72 heures. Ce mastic vient dans une cartouche à pistolet de 311 ml pour faciliter l'application. Conforme en matière de COV.

As stated in other reviews, this caulk is watery thin making it practically impossible to get a bead. Then it dries so quickly that it is impossible to make any adjustments in spreading. It tends to ball up, glob up. I might not have purchased this if I had read other reviews in advance. I did use this same brand in a light brown several years ago with no difficulty. But this was pathetic. I gave up and used the tried and true brand of plain white that I have depended upon for baseboards and door trim. Gray was the desirable color, but a nice bead was more important than color.

Good match to grout
Used this for a couple spots and it was a very good color match for the same shade by the same manufacturer of the grout I used. Easy to use in a normal caulk gun.

Real Pain to use - dries within 50 seconds!
I bought this to fill in the wall gaps between the door threshold, shower, tub and the tile I installed.
I assumed it would function as any other caulk - meaning you apply it, smear it smooth with your finger, then wipe off what ever excess remains.
I learned quickly that the caulk dries almost instantly after the smear. I began only doing 6-10 inches at a time and still had to really hustle to make it work. Ultimately I decided to focus on getting the excess off the tile and will come back later and scrape the extra off the shower and tub and repaint the trim.
Also, don't use a wet finger, this caulk is fully water soluble. It was easy to wash off - much like latex paint. I guess that's a positive.
Ultimately I was glad I emptied the tube before I finished my 68 square foot bath. I used some 100% silicone white to do the rest (trim is white, tile is gray) and it was way easier and looks good.

The tube was useless. I'm not sure how long it had been setting on the shelf but it was obvious that the tube was half dried out.

Misleading instructions
Has a picture of caulk being applied to the rim of a bath and a sink, but on the instructions it says "not for use in areas prone to constant water exposure." Was a nice thing to notice after we had tiled our entire shower and grouted with Keracolor U. Either "constant water exposure" means something other than in a shower/bath, or the picture is inaccurate. Either way, the specifications for this product are misleading. Not to mention you have to wait 72 hours prior to any water exposure.

Great match with kitchen backsplash grout
This caulk matched the same color grout perfectly. Used it for the bottom of the subway tiles where it met the countertops. Couldn't tell the difference in the different materials. Easy to use too.

i recommend getting this when ever yu buy grout. it works great and is easy to to use to seal crack or problem areas.
