Excellent Product, but not for Everyone
I purchased this product in February 2016 for my new condo. You must purchase the washer and dryer together. I had limited space and was not allowed to vent outside which is why I selected this model. I had to get 220 volt installed. It took me awhile to figure out how to use the dryer. The automatic dry settings work best when the dryer is 1/2 to 2/3 full. If you are just drying a couple items, then you must use the timed dry to ensure it is dry. No problem with the washer. It is a great product. My advice is basically this. If you can buy a ventless washer/dry combo, then you are better off. If you must have a ventless combo, nothing beats the bosch 300 series.

Great washer for a tiny home
I did extensive searching for a compact washer and dryer for my new tiny home (less than 500 sq. ft). I did not like the integrated smaller units from other manufacturers, as they were too small, less efficient and had small plastic upright tubs. I love this washer unit as it cleans the clothes really well, uses little water, detergent and has a lot of settings like larger washers. The retractable shelf in between the units is a really practical feature for pulling clothes out of the washer to place them in the dryer or just folding them when they are taken out of the dryer.

machine does not spin properly, poor service
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this washer in Sept. It worked okay for Oct. In Nov it only would spin occasionally: if the laundry was aligned perfectly otherwise it would detect imbalance and stop. Since the machine has no spin cycle (rinse combined with spin only, see picture) this was already wasting time trying to get it to spin. Dec it got worse and now, Jan, it only spins if it is empty. We called the service department, they scheduled an appointment 2 weeks out: today was the day, but the service tech is a no show.

Don’t waste your money
These machines are finicky, have endless cycles, and neither clean nor dry well. The washer mildewed almost immediately and won’t come clean, despite cycles with special cleaners, etc. I hate washing in it now because I don’t feel like it cleans well but it’s my only option currently. If I leave anything in there more than 15 minutes after the load is done, I have to ready or it smells funky.
The dryer is a waste of time and energy. I had sheets in mine tonight, and not only were they not dry after two and a half hours, one sheet was torn. The load was one full top sheet, bottom sheet, and three pillowcases, plus a bath towel.
These things are horrible. Get a basic set of top loaders, save a ton of money and every, and enjoy clean, dry clothes.

Died After 4 Months
We bought the washer/dryer package and have been using it for 4 months (family of 2) - It hasnt been used an excessive amount and the washing machine computer board has already died. This was bought for our new-home construction. I thought were were paying for high quality Bosch products not something cheap & nasty. The next problem is that there are no service technicians in our area to service it......they sell you the product and cant help when it fails after a few months ......not happy

disappointing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Right from the start, it only spins if you have precisely the right amount of laundry in it (to avoid imbalance). After 3 month, this thing is so sensitive, it is an art to find the right amount of laundry so the darn thing spins. To add to the pain: it does not have a "spin" program, only a rinse and spin, so you rinse the laundry 5 times until finally the thing spins. This is an entry level washer for a premium price.

DON'T BUY!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the washer dryer for a vacation condo because we had space constraints and the dimensions worked out perfectly. However, the machines are awful. The washing cycles are so long... over an hour for cottons, 2 1/2 hours for towels... insane. Bu the worst part is the dryer doesn't dry. At all. The cycles are so long and then you open it up and the clothes are still damp. Don't make the same mistake I did buying these.

Plugs into the dryer, buy as a pair
I've read many complaints online about the "non-standard" plug. It is true that the plug on the washer is non-standard for the U.S. But the washer is meant to be paired with the dryer. You plug the washer into the dryer, and then plug the dryer into the wall (using the standard American dryer electric outlet).
