Very loud
Had this machine installed today, and did 2 loads of wash to test it out. I found it quite loud compared to my other washers. Maybe I'm not used to an he washer, but I wasn't expecting it to sound like a grinding machine. I'm unhappy with that, and the clicking it makes as it runs thru the cycles. I was wanting a whisper quiet machine. It took 45 minutes to wash and that seemed long, and you really don't have much control on the water levels. Otherwise I like the stainless steel drum, and the way it washes. The salesman said it was quieter than the washer and dryer pair I originally picked. I'll just have to close the laundry room door for the wash cycle.

Rubbish
After one week of use, the machine started emitting a squeaking noise that never went away. After a few weeks, the clothes were not getting clean at all though they were all getting wet. Called the repair service and they replaced the gearbox. As soon as they left, we tried a load. The agitator was broken completely and the bolt that secures it to the gears was rattling around inside of the agitator. A massive PITA. Don't buy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Do not buy this
I bought one of these 2 months ago from a different supplier. it is so efficient that it does not clean the clothes. No matter what you set it on it does not put enough water in the tub to get the dirt out. Whirlpool will not take it back. neither will the supplier. I have since purchased the same size washer made by GE at Lowes, it cleans the clothes, puts water in the tub. you get to select you desired water level. check out GE model GTW330Askww. same price. Great Washer
I just got this washer delivered on 4/9/2019. Once the delivery guy left, I decided to "test" the washer with a small load. I had read other reviews about how the Auto Sensing doesn't give enough water to wash the clothes. Well, honey, let me tell you....I had more than enough water to wash my small load. And it got my clothes really clean, even more cleaner than my old washer. I also chose the soak cycle and it really soaks your clothes for a long time. I have to get used to the agitator "noise" it makes because it's different from my old washer. Overall, this is a great little washer and I'm so glad I purchased it. I'm looking forward to seeing how it performs over time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Very disappointed
Have had this washer for a month now. Nowhere near enough water to clean clothes and agitate them properly. Dark clothes come out with soap deposits on them, and I am using HE liquid detergent!! Even the deep water wash/rinse does not cover the items. How clothes are meant to be washed properly when there are only a couple inches of water in the tub is beyond me. I could put up with the noise if the washer actually washed clothes!!

Love this Whirlpool Washing Machine
This machine is just what I wanted. It is very simple to use and gets my clothes clean. The drum is deep so it can take a lot of clothes and the agitator is gentle but continuously moves so it gets the job done! It has a fabric softener dispenser and a place for the bleach. It is quiet enough. It was so easy to install!! I love it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Happy w/ washer but...
I never stepped into a store or spoke with a salesperson. I knew what I wanted. I went online and after putting in the options I wanted (Whirlpool or Maytag, top loader w/ agitator) I was left with just a few options. I choose the one with the best percentage of good reviews but not before reading the bad reviews. Which had the same two complaints, the tub didn’t fill with enough water and soap residue was left behind on clothes. I just figured these people weren’t using the machine correctly. After my washer was delivered, I read all of the instructions and then put in my first load and waited for the tub to finish filling. The sheets were wet but you could not see the waterline, it was well below the sheets. CRAP! I then went to Whirlpool.com to register the washer. While at Whirlpool.com I checked out the reviews again for my washer. There were the same reviews with the same complaints but now someone was addressing everyone’s issues. They said don’t overload and the action of the washer would pull the top of the load down to bottom into the water over and over. Because of that it could use less water. And if you were left with soap residue use less soap. I was happy with those answers and after my load was complete I was very happy with my new washer machine! BUT…Hey Whirlpool are you listening? (Please do!) I know there is a market for those new fancy washers that connect to your phone with 100 buttons and lights. But there is still a market for an old school washer too. All we want is a washer w/ a big tub, a knob for water lever (size load), water temp, rinses, and for normal, heavy, bulks and delicate. No autosense! We what a well named company to build us a well-made machine. If you build it, we will come! OK I just showed my age. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Horrible, I hate it. Really!
Bought this about two months ago and I am so sorry. Didn't really think about the purchase, just assumed things were like the old washer. WRONG! Not enough water, doesn't always cycle through, have to re-start and do again. Sensing mode - well a load of undies do not weight the same as a pair of jeans. How can it tell how much water. Not enough water in the deep water wash, fill the tub with clothes but washer only fills half way. Can't really do partial loads. I HATE IT! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
