How can the box dimensions be 27" when the depth and width are listed as 27 1/2"?
Because they are including the drain hose in the set up dimensions.

Does this washer have a warm and or hot rinse cycle? I need a washer with these options and the salesman assured me that this washer is not just "cold water rinse" only. I am getting it delivered this week and do not want to be disappointed.
Mine just got delivered today but I'm not ay home to double check the manual. Google the manual and it tells you the temp available for each setting

I notice that you can adjust the washing water temperature, but can you also adjust the rinse temperature? e.g., if you wash on hot, will it rinse on hot? or if you wash on hot, can you rinse on cold?
Je viens d’acheter ce modèle et je me demande si le bruit qu’elle fait au cycle de lavage est normal. C’est comme un bourdonnement qui dure 2 ou 3 secondes s’arrête, recommence et ainsi de suite jusqu’à la fin du cycle.

Model is basic enough without much confusion
This particular model was picked out by my Maytag repairman since he came, saw and told me that after 26 years, my machine was leaking from something too expensive to repair and labor. I told him what I wanted and am not disappointed in this machine so far. It's only been a couple of days but had to wash many loads. However, this tub can do 1 1/2 to 2 loads of different loads at one time. Before I had to do 2 loads at 2 different times so that's how big the drum is in it. It does shake on spin cycle so I want to double check to be sure it's balanced properly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Doesn't Clean
I've had this washer for three months. I've given it a chance and chose the agitator model thinking it would move clothes more effectively and thus give me cleaner clothes. Not so. I've had to rewash on several occasions whether the wash load is small or large. When I've added bleach I've ended up with white streaks - the bleach doesn't seem to dispense evenly. I have beautiful heave cotton drapes that were off white with age and after adding bleach to the washer, they now have white streaks. I used the deep water level. Don't know what I'm going to do. Very noisy and waste water.
This washer was delivered Dec. 28, 2018. I've used it about 10 times since. When the water valve switches between hot and cold, the valve makes an incredible load noise. You can hear it throughout the house. First time I've EVER encountered such a noise. It actually sounds like the tub is unbalanced, but its not even turning yet. The ONLY time the valve is not activated, is when the temperature selection is set to "tap cold" because there is no mixing. Both water level selections involve the "automatic" level feature, which always is wasteful. A manual water level would be far more practical and efficient. Expected better from Maytag!
I really wanted to like this washer. My previous other brand washer had a hand wash cycle and sweaters, etc. came out in very good shape, hardly wrinkled or misshapen. This washer does not have that feature, lowest cycle is delicate. I've had my washer a couple of months, and so far the motor and transmission have had to be replaced due to an oil leak which produced a tremendous squeaking noise when operating. I thought the Maytag name stoodfor quality, but obviously not. Will never purchase another Maytag appliance. Same too, because I`m going to be in the market for a new dishwasher and refrigerator soon... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Definitely worth it!!!
I bought the matching washer and dryer set in December of 2018. Over a year later, I’m still very impressed! I was very skeptical due to it being very cheap, but I do NOT regret my decision at all! I’m one to do very thorough research before investing my money into anything and I loved what I read about the product. I can put a huge load of laundry into it and it still cleans the clothes fully and thoroughly. The only issue is the washer does not balance at all. One foot in smaller than the other 3, so we had to put cardboard under it to keep it balanced. Plus, this washer has many more settings than a lot of the other Maytags’ I was considering did not have. I recommend this product to anyone!!!

Waste of money...
This machine uses so little water to clean the clothes in, it is utterly ridiculous. Do not be fooled by the interior size, which in itself it large, it still only fills up about 1/4 - 1/3 of the way, and that is on the largest setting available.
Plus you have to add your clothes and detergent together, close the lid, and only then will it start filling up with water. While I can’t speak for other people, but I prefer to add my detergent first, start the water so that the detergent dissolves more evenly, then add my clothes.
I could go on about all the other things that I don’t like, but you get the idea, I do not like anything about this wash machine... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Piece of junk! Better as a boat anchor!
I bought this model from Lowe’s a few weeks ago. It never worked! Stays on autosensing forever! Tried different settings and when finally able to move to wash cycle it then sits there forever too! Drains whatever water was dispensed and just sits in “wash!” Woke up next morning and was still on “wash” and clothes never got cleaned! Returned it to the store for a swap of same model and got the exact same thing on the 2nd washer! Returned the 2nd one and decided to get the Bravos MCT model thinking maybe it was just this particular model, and for the 3rd time doing the exact same thing with the Bravos! These washers would serve better as a boat anchors I think! I am returning the Bravos and no more Maytag washers for me! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

So Disappointed
I have had Maytag washers in the past and decided to replace my 15 yr old washing machine that died with another Maytag based on the past performances I had on my previous machines. My clothes do not get clean and the lint is imbedded into the fabric of the clothes. It does not matter how many cycles, or deep wash or whatever I use it does not clean. Half the time the lid will not open after the cycle is through and you have to unplug and plug the unit back in to get it to work. I wish they had left the old product they had alone. Over 2 hours for one wash? Looking for a wringer washer to replace this machine. A big waste of money and very disappointing.
