Horrible product and customer service
Do NOT purchase an Lg Appliance! We spent over 8k on appliances for our kitchen and received them about 4 months ago. Our dishwasher has now stopped working a few days before we have our family over for Christmas and when calling customer service we are told that there is nothing that they can do about our unit until after Christmas in a very rude tone. Alan the supervisor from the first level customer service was very condescending and talked over me rather than trying to come up with a solution. This is absolutely unacceptable and I will never buy another appliance from this company, the way things are going I will need to shortly. Thanks Lg for letting us down at the most important time of year.

the worst choice ever
I bought my 4 pieces kitchen appliances in July, 2017 and spend almost $5k. Dishwasher is the worst choice! since it was delivered in my house at the end of August, I've used it less than 10 times. As per technician the middle rack parts are longer than it should be, as a result the door is not closing properly. when it closing properly, then the door opens automatically in the middle of the cycle and water/hot steam leaks through creating additional damage to kitchen and hazards health. The LG and EMS company send me back and force with phone calls. For the past two months I've made about 100 calls to both side (LG and EMS)! No repair since then being done as no part exist in EMS system and from the LG side the part exist but need to wait 5-7 weeks to get it. nobody can order the part as there is a miscommunication among two services. The company promised to change the whole unit but then rejected it stating that the part exist. it goes in circles. part exist, no its not exist, cant order, exchange, agreed, rejected. TWO months there is no resolution. every single customer service representative tells something different, every single customer service representative promises to call back, but nobody calls back. nobody cares. very upset with this product. Would never recommend to buy any LG products unless you want to buy it to keep it in the corner of your beautiful kitchen without using and having extra headache dealing with customer service

First & probably last time I'll buy LG appliances
Though I was being smart by avoiding Samsung but bought this last November (11 months ago) and my dishwasher has essentially already stopped working.
About 2 weeks ago, it started having trouble staying on, it would flash and beep and then shut itself off but picking different settings seemed to get it running again. Last night it struggled particularly hard, shutting itself off repeatedly before a cycle started and even after the cycle has started.
I called customer service a few months prior because the dishwasher had stopped turning on altogether and the rep suggested we unplug the dishwasher and replug it back in citing that sometimes power outages/surges can cause the machine to shut itself off as a precaution. (Even though there was no power outage or surge that affected any other electronic in the house). In the end the dishwasher was able to turn back on again.
So I decided to try the same technique and unplugged it a few times. The dishwasher couldn't even stay on in the end. Just keeps beeping and flashing on and off until it eventually gives up and shuts off completely.
VERY disappointing considering it's a $1K+ appliance.
A technician is coming to check it out. If it doesn't conk out again in a few months I'll consider updating this review - otherwise stay away.

As the reviews this appliance is a Unreliable dishwasher ,mine is ten months old already replaced motor a week later water on floor have a appointment to repair.They have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with,their technicians don't work past 3:30pm do they think people don't work.never ever buy a lg appliance because you will live to regret it.

I bought this roughly four months ago. The only complaint I have is that it doesn't dry the dishes. Even if I put it on Extra Dry, the dishes still have water on them. Other than that, it's very quiet, does a good job cleaning and looks nice.

Bought this a few months ago, it works great. It is extremely quiet and I love the addition of a third row.
