Ice maker and lights do not work!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have other kitchenaid products and love them...dishwasher is the quietest and best cleaning we have ever owned. That’s why we invested in this refrigerator...after one year we have replaced the ice maker motor twice...now it is not working again! Some reviews had remarks about this issue, I still bought it. Additionally, the side led lights started flickering and the top ones are now dime and one does not work. You CANNOT replace a bulb or fix this issue....Extremely disappointed...it is unacceptable to have a premium product like this not work properly after such a short amount of time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The only thing worse than a KitchenAid refrigerator or product is Whirlpool Customer Service. Purchased 2013. From start evaporator behind flex drawer started icing over. So much frost that drawer won’t close and then doors. Whirlpool, KA well knows of the design flaw and will not stand behind the product. What more can be said. I’ll spare all the service history of warranty and non warranty service people smirking and saying it can’t be repair - design flaw. The flex drawer fills with moisture and freezes all products at the back of it. Similar quality issues with KitchenAid dishwasher.

The best refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is beyond functional not to mention gorgeous! I love how spacious this refrigerator is, as well as how it allows you to organize everything. It’s easy to pull the inserts in and out to clean or adjust the height of the shelves depending on how tall certain items are. The Freezer is so big we always have room left even if we’ve done a huge grocery run and we live the designated pizza box section! Lastly, the water & ice cube dispenser awesome probably due to the charcoal filter. All in all we couldn’t be happier with this refrigerator! I’d recommend to everybody.

Beware!
We have had the same negative experience as others. The first year we owned the fridge we had repairmen out 3 times to try to fix it because it stopped cooling and making ice. Because the repairmen were not from 3 separate companies, which we were not aware was a stipulation of the warranty, we were not able to get our money back. One repairman told us it was simply a design flaw of the model. It is a horrible shame to charge so much money for a flawed appliance!!! Just like other unsatisfied customers, we now have to unload the refrigerator every few months to defrost the ice that builds up in the back. Other brands have lasted us decades. This kitchenaid has been nothing but an expensive headache.

New Kitchen!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the look of this appliance. Plus it had great ratings. Very roomy and well designed. I really like the interior lighting. We got the printshield finish which I think is essential with a high end appliance. The handles are textured also which should help with the finger prints. It's new so I cant vouch for service but we always had good luck with Whirlpool/Kitchenaid. I've tried other brands but seem to keep coming back to this brand. The 1st I ever bought was a washer/dryer set I bought in 1974. It lasted 15 years before needing a repair and the only reason I replaced it was because of the color.

Great but awkward at times
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator a couple of months ago and am really happy with it. The craftsmanship is solid compared to my previous refrigerator. The drawers and shelves are well thought out - except the shelves under the ice\water dispenser. Small and awkward. Maybe there should only be 1 instead of 2. Either way, I love this frig. Time will tell if I stay happy. Nothing bothers me more than having a refrigerator in the garage that is 25 years old and still works when I am talking to a repair man in my kitchen about a refrigerator this is less than 5 years old.

Lots of room!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator with my recent kitchen remodeling project and I'm so glad I did! It has so much room to store everything we need for our family of 5! I love the storage space in the freezer. This is my first time owning a refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom and I wasn't sure that I'd like it. It's really nice! I love the two doors on the fridge and the ice maker! The storage on the doors is great too!. The shelves are adjustable so you can move them to fit your needs! The water dispenser has a display to show you how many ounces you are dispensing. I love this fridge!

Needs to be recalled
We bought this refrigerator for our new home because in the past we’ve had kitchenAid appliance for 17 years with little to no issues. 14 months after purchase we’ve also experienced frost build up which turned out to be the sensor. We lost a bunch of food and took over a week to get the part and fix through extended warranty company. We’ve also had issues with the waterline and I’m currently sitting here listening to this jet engine of a fridge which hasn’t cycled off in hours. (Or longer. That’s when I started noticing it constant running).
