setting the sensitivity distance is a very nice feature. but what is the sensing range and how wide is the angle of sensitivity?
The sensing range can be adjusted from 1 inch to approximately 6 inches. The hand needs to be waived in front of the switch.

Awesome Switch!!!
I wanted to put a motion sensor for the lights in our powder room on our main level. I found these adorne switches that look really cool. The wave switch I installed is excellent because you never need to touch the switch. I installed some switches before but this was super easy and came with instructions even I could understand. I installed this, a timer, and GFCI in minutes and love the look of this room. Home run for adorne!!!

May not work for older homes.
I have a 50-year-old house with a mix of grounded and ungrounded boxes. My intent was to slowly install these throughout the house until I have them all converted. The instructions state (and it would have been nice to know this prior to purchase) that a ground is required for the switch to work. The first switch I replaced was on an ungrounded receptacle. I gave it a shot by attaching the ground wire to a screw inside of the old metal box; it didn't work. So, long story short, of the four switches I bought, only two are usable. I love the way they look but if I can't have all of the switches in the house uniform in appearance I'm probably returning them all.

I bought the Wave switch because I have OCD which causes me to not like to touch things only if they are disinfected which causes extra work for me on my daily routine unfortunately. This has helped cut back a few minutes to free up some time in my day for me. I wish the company made a two and three toggle switch waves for the living room and kitchen lights. If and when they do I will definitely purchase them. Thank you Adorne for making my life a little easier

Poor technical support from Legrand!
I installed all new Adorne light switches and outlets at my house. I chose the Touchless switch for the bathroom and for about 3 weeks it worked great, then it stopped functioning, it made the clicking sound, but the bathroom light wouldn't turn on. So I contacted their technical support and in a timely manner I got a response saying that they were going to send me a replacement unit. Days turned into weeks and I repeatedly requested the status of my replacement without any answers. I gave up so I returned the unit for a refund.

Great Upgrade To My Modern Home
The Wave Switch works perfectly and looks even better. It gives off a very modern and high tech feeling. Being able to adjust the distance your hand needs to be to trip the switch is a great feature. I bought the Wave Switch to be used in my bathroom. I thought it would be a great to reduce the spread of germs. It's one less thing that has to be touched. Only advice I have is to be sure not to hang a hand towel in front of it as that will trip the sensor.

These are exceptionally stylish and fit our contemporary decor beautifully. Wiring them has proven to be a challenge at times. It works as advertised. They are expensive but they are pretty unique. You pay for that as well.

WOW factor
Gave the bathroom a whole new wow factor. One can now sit on the bathroom toilet, and with the wave of your hand, can turn on the vent when needed. Switch took the guess work out of "do I need to turn on the vent before I sit down " to a fun thought that makes guests laugh and "want to use the vent" in the bath. By moving the switch to within arms length of the toilet was easy and made better bathroom design sense.
