16-in old world bronze wall mount grab bar
I like the look and the size. The backside of the bar has rubberized grips, which make the feel of holding the bar very comfortable. It helps to prevent hand slippage when hands are wet. Appearance is very nice. The 16-in size was perfect for what I needed. Installation was standard: drill 6-holes, mount the brackets, and secure the grab bar with set screws. You need to mount to solid wood (or metal that will accept and hold screws). You will need a glass/tile 1/4" drill bit to drill through tile. The bit was around $8.00 (with tax) and it lasted through the 6-holes, but that's about it. I tried a concrete bit, but it did not work well at all on my porcelain tile. I did use a concrete bit to drill through the cement board behind the tile, but I definitely needed a glass/tile drill bit to get through the tile.

Well designed!
Does not look clunky like many of the grab bars and is a handsome addition to my new curb-less shower. They look more like decor that I added than a safety element. They have pliable plastic on the backside for a good grip......thank you Moen for top quality product with great design. And thanks to you Lowe's for choosing to carry the product. This was not a diy project; done by professional contractor.

16-in Brushed Nickel Grab Bar
Its a very sturdy ba and exactly what I needed for my handicap. It's nice to know you sell such quality products that looks nice also., It was very nice that I was able to call the store and speak to someone in the department tell them what I wanted, and the gentleman suggested another product even better. Since I'm bed ridden he delivered the item to the front of the store, I paid for it over the phone and my friend picked it up and installed it for me. What beter service could I ask for. Thank you so much

Product was purchased for a client to assist in lifting themselves from a sitting position. After install, client was fully pleased with product, including the built in grip pads on the underside of the grab bar.

Nice addition
Installed by contractor during bathtub installation so contractor was able to put additional support bracing for the bar in the wall, prior to installation,which we strongly recommend. Made the bar much more secure without concern that it will pull off the tub.

16" Old World Bronze Grab Bar
I used this bar in the stairwell of our new fifth wheel RV. It matched the interior color perfectly. I was able to mount the bar after locating the interior wall studs (alum.). Installation was a snap after identifying the studs. Another fifth wheel owner used the same bar in the same location and recommended the bar. They say imitation is the best form of flattery, so I installed it in a matter of minutes. I would recommend this item to friends.

very useful
I wish we had installed this a long time ago. Getting out of our tub I didn't lift my leg high enough to clear shower track and fell, there was nothing to grab onto. We installed the grab bar vertically next to tub surround and it works beautifully and looks nice too. I would recommend this for safety reasons.
