Can I use this near the tree base?
Nazanin7, Roundup Roundup Poison Ivy will not penetrate the bark of trees, so it can safely be applied to the tree bark (not leaves) unless there is a wound. Any green that is desirable for the trees (leaves, flowers, etc…) that is exposed should be protected from the spray. This also applies to exposed roots. Also, this product should not be sprayed on tree or shrub suckers as this may harm the tree or shrub.

I used this product and try to kill the weeds. However it killed lawn grass too, and left a big area of yellowish spot. I don't know how to deal with the area of yellowish spot after applying this product.
Roundup Pull N Spray Poison Ivy Control is a non-selective vegetation killer. It will damage or destroy anything green and growing on which it is sprayed and is not recommended for use in lawns. If the yellow area does not show signs of recovery, the area can be reseeded after 7 days.

The Ivy was everywhere
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the ivy killer with allot of skepticism
You see I have woods in my back yard where the kids sometime like to play, For the last two years the were no permitted to go back there.
It got to a point I put up a fence to block the poisonivy
This year the ivy was climbing over and through the fence.
I went to the store and saw this new product
( New to me) roundup for poison ivy. Why not ive tryed other that didn't do much, like there other products why not.
I spayed everywhere. Went out to cut the grass the next week and I couldn't believe what I saw. It was dead.
no more Ivy
Thank you
(For a product that actually does what it says)

It doesn't kill poison oak vine as stated
One week ago today I finished up my 2nd gallon of Roundup tough brush killer and it didn't preform well on my poison oak. It will kill the leaves but doesn't kill the vine itself. I bought this specifically to kill a bunch of poison oak in my backyard, hoping it will kill the vine and stop the growth, all the leaves that I sprayed died but the vines lives on to produce more leaves. I was highly disappointed. I followed directions exactly. I rated it three stars because anything else I sprayed died without a problem. Now I got to figure out how to kill the rest without using 20 gallons of this product.

Not Just for Poison Ivy
My flower beds were infested with weeds, so I bought regular Roundup and it worked on everything EXCEPT the dreaded yellow nutsedge. I was going nuts pulling and pulling only to have more and more cursed nutsedge. It's also particularly nasty because Preen doesn't keep it from sprouting. I searched for a product that could be used in flower beds that would kill the roach of weeds and saw Roundup for poison ivy and tough brush. I thought, "what have I got to lose?" I bought the small bottle just to give it a try and sprayed a patch of the nutsedge. The next day it was turning yellow!!! The heavens opened up and angels sang. It was truly an answer to my prayers. Now around 5 days later, the nutsedge is brown and dead TO THE ROOT. I NEVER want to be without this stuff.

Stop hard to kill poison ivy and other pest before they start
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product to take care of those hard to kill plants such as poison ivy once you discover them, but even better if you can use it BEFORE they are allowed to grow. Once you take care of these plants go back the following year and spray the area as soon as you see evidence of them emerging again to stop them at the start. I used a version last year that helped take care of problems and using this one to stop the problem right away. So happy to know that I can stay on top of things before they get worse. The easy to use sprayer makes it perfect for those of use with arthritis.

Works about as well as spraying water
We have several spots in our yard where posion ivy has popped up. I sprayed everything I saw about three weeks ago, but iI still can tell no difference what-so-ever. About a week ago, I sprayed one set of leaves on a large vine for about 60 seconds straight, until the liquid had been running off of it for about 30 seconds, then I sprayed the vine where it came out of the ground for another 60 seconds. Today the set of leaves that I drenched looks slightly wilted, like a a good drink woud fix it right up. The rest of the vine looks as healthy as ever. We didn't have any rain after I sprayed. About four weeks ago I also sprayed all over my back yard with the same results. I clearly need something better.

This is the tops!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found that I had some poison ivy growing amongst my rose of Sharon, daffodils and my Japanese maples. I had luck with this product before, but I never tried it around other vegetation. Boy did this work!! All the poison ivy dead in one day and none of the other plants were affected!! Not even a brown leaf where I had some overspray on the rose of Sharon. I was completely amazed!! This will now be a constant companion in my yard management system.

Brush Shrinkage
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I sprayed my fence line five days ago. I did not spray hard and heavy, I just sprayed enough to see I hit my target. I live in west central Ohio. The weather just warmed up. In the 5 days from my first photo til the second I would have had a very big encroachment on my fence/yard. Then I would go out with my lopers and start cutting. This year I sprayed Roundup Ready-To-Use Poison Ivy Plus Tough Brush Killer with Comfort Wand. It took under 15 minutes for a job that would have taken me well over an hour. Judge for yourself. I have a picture when I started and a pic 5 days later. I see some serious shrinkage. A normal year those puppies would have been all the way through my fence waiting for me. Only 5 days is unreal. It will only get better from what I can tell. Nice. I was asked to leave a review for this product.

Works within hours!!!
Just moved into a new house a few months ago and just started to notice a funny looking vine growing on a tree between my property and the neighbors. After talking to my neighbor he confirmed that it was poision ivy, needless to say I ran out got a bottle o this round up and it worked better then expected. Within hours the leaves started to wilt and about 24 hours later it was dead. I can't believe how fast it worked. Great product!
