OVEN IS A KITCHEN FURNACE!
We replaced a 20 year old GE Profile wall oven with this 'kitchen furnace'. Hot air blows out from the start at 375 (forget anything higher) We live in South Florida and it is winter time...the AC had to be turned down from 76 degrees to 68 and it still did not cool the house down after this oven was turned on. A GE service man came out and said that this is 'normal'. So upsetting that GE changed this feature from the old GE Profile. Why did they do this?? It is going back. No way will I be cooking in a kitchen in the dead of summer with a 'kitchen furnace' on! Our electric bill will be twice as much and I will not be able to stand in my kitchen with this 'furnace' on!

Close but no cigar
It has the “must features” I wanted. But disappointed in the way it works. The “must features” no buttons or handle, and convection. So it has those not many Other ovens do. It’s pretty enough. BUT it takes forever to get to temperature, it cooks really unevenly so for baking it’s a bust. There are always a few cookies that are sacrificed. It takes forever to cook down. The fan runs for hours after you turn the ice. Off. And it face if the control panel vibrates something bad. So it’s has this constant vibrating noise. Which you have to keep pressing it to stop it from vibrating. It stops briefly then starts up again. So I’m sad this is my oven. The GE repair man is coming out today to look at it. So we’ll see.

Snazzy, dazzling!
After 21 years with my plain white GE oven, I stepped up to this dazzling piece of work! It bakes more evenly and hotter than my previous GE, and looks a lot more impressive with the sleek stainless steel and dancing digital screen. OK, it doesn't dance, but it's pretty cool. I wish there was a tutorial on how and why to use the convection feature, and so far, I haven't been able to figure how how to connect it to my phone. That's the reason for the star subtraction. Also - I'm very short, and wasn't prepared for reaching across the giant oven door to slide thiings in and out. I'm having to stand to one side. Overall, though, I'm quite happy with it!

Surpassed Expectations
This oven replaced our previous GE oven and we were very pleased that it was a perfect fit, as GE guarantees. The oven itself is streamlined and user friendly with an easy to clean exterior. Although we have not used all the fantastic features, I can attest to the fact that those we have used have been outstanding. The bake and convection features cook perfectly, which in the end is the main purpose of an oven, right?? Love the easy glide rack and the sound alerts are loud enough that one can actually hear from a distance (thank you for that!) We researched many different ovens and options and decided on this one. It has surpassed out expectations.

Second Time’s A Charm
Four star only because of the hassle of having to have the oven installed twice. Replaced an old GE oven with this new one. Original oven did not work out of the box! The electronic display kept displaying the message “configuring your oven” but the message never stopped. My dealer delivered a new oven the next day, which worked perfectly. After using the oven for about a month, it is great. Cooks evenly, is easy to use and has some good features my old oven didn’t have. I really like the slide out oven rack, makes it really easy to place large or heavy things into the oven.

Solid Performance
I have had GE Profile ovens in two other homes and the ovens worked perfectly. My current condo is new and came equipped with Bosch appliances. (I had a very bad experience with a Bosch oven in a previous condo and replaced it with a GE Profile oven.) The Bosch oven in my current new condo started to fail just after the warranty ended. The cost to replace the failed parts in the oven was huge, with a very limited warranty on the replaced parts, so I chose to have the Bosch oven removed and replaced it with an oven I've had positive experience with, another GE Profile oven, and this oven has worked perfectly.

Mostly good
Nice oven. Lots of nice features. Big improvement of clock that can actually be seen as opposed to previous models that had a person practically on his knees to read the clock and settings. So it is very good, except giving one star discount because it is very slow to preheat. When we heat the oven to 500 for home made pizza, it takes nearly 40 minutes. It was explained by a GE Tech that the reason for that is the lower heating unit is below the bottom of the oven for easier cleaning. Not sure if it is worth it for the long wait. But other than that, we are very happy with the appliance.

Great features and performance!
This oven is terrific! It has far exceeded our expectations. It’s loaded with features, including preset cooking instructions, cook modes, and its internal thermometer that will control the oven based on what’s inside the oven! The best part is that it is powerful! It preheats very quickly and evenly, allowing us to start baking simple things while the oven is preheating (because it gets up to temperature so quickly!). This is a terrific oven. I highly recommend it!
The performance of this oven, and the rest of the appliances we purchased for our house, is what convinced my parents to choose GE appliances (they went with Cafe, though, for a different look) for their kitchen remodel.
