Gabarit de perçage pour porte DeWalt(MC), acier M3 est évalué 4.2 de 5 de 98.
Rated 3 de 5 de par Better than the other low end hole saw kits Hole saw kit is a little better than the other low end kits but still walks a little when drilling the big hole. Good for boring a few doors though.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Awesome product Super sweet product, turned a all day project into a minute project. Didn't have to take my door off the hinges. It worked flawlessly thank you lowes and dewalt.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Very nice product I found the kit to be complete except for some spacers, it was compact and easy to understand. I used it on a steel covered door and the saw blades had no trouble with cutting it. The mandrel for the drill bit was not threaded all the way to the back and this allowed the hole saw to spin. I had to provide a couple washers to space it back out onto the threads where it stayed in place. Looks like they could have sent those with it. It's made pretty rigid, unlike the cheaper one that i tried first ( another Brand ). As with other hole saws, I had to push a screw driver through the slots to get it off the mandrel when switching blades. I used it on a door with a plastic design on the front which i loosened the screws on the inside and pulled the cover out enough to fit the unit in place for the drilling.

Rated 5 de 5 de par I hung a slab door all by myself I had an interior door that had become warped and cracked, and it needed replacing. I already had the door hardware, so I did the least expensive thing possible. I bought a slab door. I had to bore the holes for the knob and bolt, and the door was one of those thin ones. No margin for error. So I bought this Dewalt hole saw kit and did the work myself. The holes are perfectly centered, square flat and plumb. I installed the hardware and screwed the door to the jamb, and all is well. And I have a happy wife. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par Fast and Easy Dials in the size you want quickly and doesn't slip. Mounts easily and works like a champ. Read some reviews from people stating that they had a hard time removing saw from bit after using so I just put a drop of oil on it before screwing to bit, and both saws unscrewed like butter after using. I have an old house and all my door holes are smaller and don't fit the new standard sizes. Before buying this I jacked the front of a door up rather nastily from skipping the hole saw. Found this for some bathroom doors I needed to bore out and it took me longer (no time at all) to change out the saws for the second hole, than it did to mount and drill. Can't state how well it will work for metal doors, as I just used it on 3 bathroom doors, but it cut through all of them like butter without any misalignment or slipping. Well worth the money and my only regret is I didn't know it existed before I jacked up my first door. Definitely would buy again

Rated 4 de 5 de par locks installed this lock kit didthe trick. i hade a 103/4 hole in my door and had to increase it to 2 1/8 without the piolet hole and it worked great.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Very easy and efficient Great product, A little pricey seeing how you only need it for a certain amount of doors. How ever I tried doing one with out the Dewalt Door lock instalation kit. An hour later went and bought the tool. Save your self the headache and get one got 5 doors done with ease.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Structure is Compromised After 2 Doors This product worked exceptionally well on 2 interior doors. On the third door, the 1 inch latch hole was not centred in the middle of the door. One side of it was 1/16 from the edge of the door and almost punched through. This is due to the extremely soft plastic on the inside that shreds out in frightening amounts as each hole is drilled. I am assuming the loss of the plastic inside the guide to was such an extent that it no longer was centred. It wrecked 2 doors which was infuriating as I thought I had drilled the first one incorrectly not realizing it was the jig itself that was compromised.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Easy to use I needed to make the holes in my door larger and this tool worked great. Only thing that could be improved is how wide the clamp can open. I would have liked to use 2 pieces of plywood on either side of the door for the drill bit to grab on to but the clamp would not open far enough. It ended up working out and did not cause the door to splinter.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Jig works okay but the hole saw is worthless Overall I feel you're paying the price for the jig and holesaws to do one door. Just know that if you can do two or more doors, you're in luck. If you also have a door with a large built-in window and the trim gets in the way like mine you may have to unscrew and take it off potentially as the side of the door hole sticks out a bit enough to hit the window frame. So the problem is that for one door it worked fine. But second time, the hole saw decided to strip itself for the 2-1/8" and rendered it completely useless. Luckily I live just down the street so I ended up buying another 2-1/8" hole saw and finished the job. If you're planning to do use this everyday or need it for two or more doors, I would just invest in yourself a spare 2-1/8" hole saw with an arbor. Otherwise you'll be stuck like me.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Poorly designed As is the case with most DeWalt products, the hole saws were sharp enough to cut through every door I worked on. The biggest downfall was the design, you have to change from one hole saw to the other using an adapter that screws together in the same thread direction as the saw blade. Thus the end result is an adapter that can't be separated. The jig is a necessary tool for quick door hardware installation, but this one is a piece of garbage.

Rated 5 de 5 de par wise purchase This is a "MUST HAVE" any landlord, handyman or Pro. This tool is very accurate and easy to use.
Date de publication: 2013-08-26
Rated 4 de 5 de par Efficient tool Easy to use tool. Some simple principles I have learned from using this tool. Using the guides to start the pilot holes and removing the tool will save you wear and tear. Of course they do not tell you that. But once I started drilling the big hole and saw the plastic shavings, I quickly reversed the drill and placed the small ole saw in and started the pilot hole. I then removed the tool completely and finished it off. It came out perfect as expected. Once the pilot holes are made, it actually gets in the way, but well worth the ease. Not the best hole saws.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Did not make it through one door it is a good setup tool for lining up the holes, but I mounted the large hole saw on the arbor, about half way through drilling the hole, the arbor spun on the hole saw blade. The threads on the arbor failed. I could not finish the door setup.

Rated 1 de 5 de par Worst product ever Great idea! Good looks. Poor performance. Door template - nice looking but rubber tips that protect the door not glued on enough. Large diameter drill bit was very hard to drill with and the wood cut outs were hard to get out. The bit malfunctioned after 1 and 1/2 holes. Bought another companies drill bit. Easy drilling and cut out removal. The small drill bit was just as impossible to use. Hard to drill with and hard to get the cut outs out.
Date de publication: 2013-08-22
Rated 5 de 5 de par Great Drilling Guide This is a great jig for accurately guiding the hole saws to drill door knob holes. It has settings for the two common door thicknesses and door knob setbacks. If you have a non-standard door thickness or setback, this is not going to help you. I'm not sure of the longevity of this device since the black plastic sleeves that guide the hole saws get worn a bit with each use. But I would estimate it being useful for at least 10 door drillings.
Date de publication: 2018-02-12
Rated 3 de 5 de par First-timer friendly Needed it to complete a room makeover; never cut a door lock hole before. Chose this one because it accommodated different thickness doors. Works well but with two drawbacks. Instructions for adjusting to door thickness are murky, so take a good look at positioning before you start cutting. Also, squirt some WD-40 onto threads before screwing on the door hole and latch hole saws. Otherwise can be tough to unscrew the pieces

Rated 3 de 5 de par Great concept and tool, screws keep seizing though This is probably the best designed door hole cutter out there. Only problem, the auger bit that is supposed to be interchangeable between the large and small hole saws gets seized onto the large hole saw which makes the smaller hole saw unusable. Now the solution could be to have a separate small hole saw from another kit or purchased separately, but I feel that this is more of a design issue and buying a separate small hole saw isn't a solution when one comes with the kit. I ended up returning it as this was too much of a deal breaker for me.

Rated 5 de 5 de par DeWalt Delivers I just used the DeWalt Bi-Metal Door Lock kit on two doors. One metal faced and the other an interior wood door. It works as advertised! The clamp feature saves time and frustration. Both holes are drilled without moving the clamp - and both end up properly located and aligned. The Bi-Metallic drills cut easily through both materials, and should last a long time. This is a bit more expensive, but truly worth it!

Rated 4 de 5 de par You get more than what you pay for This is a great product easy to use a real time saver!!!!
Date de publication: 2012-09-12
Rated 5 de 5 de par Great time saver makes you as good as a pro I had four steel doors that i wanted to install dead bolt locks. I have never attempted this before and wanted something that was fault proof and simple to use. Instead of doing a lot of measurements I simply tightened the clamp to the door at a point that looked good to me. I then attached my drill and used the large saw to bore thru for my first hole, stopping when the drill bit pierced the opposite side. I then used that exit hole to guide my saw to complete this hole, Next the 1" saw was used to drill the edge hole thru into the first hole. Remove the clamp and saw assembly. Then insert bolt assembly. mark and recess into door edge with chisel and secure with screws. (Note: make sure the up mark is up and shaft is rotated to properly align assembly to the center of hole). Now fit the exterior lock (3 pieces) together with the attached rod going thru to the interior turn lock assembly. Use the two provided machine screws to hold it all together. The two screws and holes need to be horizontal to align with interior lock threads. Put lipstick on end of bolt, close door, move bolt in and out to mark door jamb. Use 7/8" spade drill bit for bolt hole and finish strike plate installation,

Rated 4 de 5 de par Better than the kobalt brand I bought the kobalt brand and first time using it it broke. Came back to lowes and bought the dewalt brand and I never buy them. I'm a kobalt brand person. But now I'm looking at dewalt more often because it works better.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Worked as expected I think it worked just great. I had no issues. The only reason for not being five stars is that when drilling with the guide, the edges of the guide are slightly drilled away. Because of this, I question the longevity of the guide. That being said, I would easily expect to be able to use this without issue 4 or 5 more times. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par good buy ! Very well made not cheap plastic like the Irwin brand I bough the Irwin first cause it came with a template for door jam plate to do the mortise but its flimsy and moves a lot so returned it and bought the dewalt best in its class and since come depot sales it cheaper 22 bucks they match the price and it was only couple dollars more then the Irwin, very easy to use
Date de publication: 2014-10-18
Rated 3 de 5 de par Useful but not durable This is useful for me, but the holesaw shaves the inside of the plastic guides. This has worked for eight doors but it would not last another eight years. This is a nice looking tool but with similar and less expensive comparable products, Id have gone with the less expensive tool. I paid more thinking it would last longer. I am pleased that this tool saved my family significantly on doors without holes. It works great, and paid for itself on the second door but I am confident their competition would do the same thing for less.

Rated 5 de 5 de par One-time use for me, but worth it. I was changing out my Schlage deadbolt for a new keyless Yale Z-Wave model, and discovered to my chagrin that the Yale requires a 1" opening for the deadbolt assembly, larger than the Schlage. That made for a messy proposition of enlarging the existing 7/8" hole to a full 1" without destroying the door. The DeWalt kit came to my rescue, thankfully. It clamped firmly onto my 1 3/4" door, and with a bit of careful visually alignment against the existing opening, I was able to use the included 1" arbor drill to expand the hole quite nicely and easily. I was surprised the the arbor bit fits somewhat loosely within the outer ring, but it provided adequate control to avoid the bit wandering away from my target. The assembly is all plastic, so it obviously isn't designed for repeated commercial use, but for the one-time, or several-time user, it should be durable enough, and it was inexpensive enough to justify the single use purchase for me.

Rated 5 de 5 de par Well made and easy to use Doesn't require any screws to attach to the door. Solid fit. Can even be used to "over drill" existing holes in older doors with smaller original door knobs. The only thing wrong are the saws that come with it. They are not compatible with higher end hole saw mandrels as they don't have holes in the top. Makes changing the saws challenging.

Rated 4 de 5 de par Great for increasing the size of Deadbolt holes Like a few people here I have an older home (circa 1970s) - the original deadbolts were Weiser which is no longer made. They were smaller holes then. I am updating all the locks and door handles (selling home) and bought the Gatehouse combination packs. Didn't realize until I got them home and starting taking out the old deadbolts on the exterior doors that the hole was a lot smaller than I needed. Thought I would need to call a locksmith or handyman to cut a larger hole around the old one. Found this, read the reviews and watched a YouTube video. Bought it and have just cut the perfect larger hole for my new deadbolt. Didn't realize that now the standard deadbolt size is the same as a doorknob. Here is a tip if you are making a larger hole out of an existing smaller hole and the hole in the side of the door is already there. I wanted to make sure that the template was perfectly lined up over the old, smaller hole so I just took the smaller hole saw for the side, slid it into the template and slid it into the existing hole. When I tightened the bracket it was perfectly situated around the old hole. Keep in mind, if you have an existing hole you won't have wood on the other side to put the smaller drill through. I just kept going all the way through and it seemed to work fine. Make sure the battery on your drill is fully charged. As some have stated, the saw seems poorly made. I only have to do a couple of these, but I imagine you would need a better quality 2 1/8 hole saw if you were doing multiple holes. Great to be able to spend just $30 rather than bringing someone out to the house.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Worked but not perfect This did the job, however, the black plastic part holding the setup in place on the door got chewed up by the drill. That part should really be made of metal to prevent that from happening. But I did get two door holes drilled in under 15 minutes, and I will use it again if needed. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Date de publication: 2018-10-23
Rated 5 de 5 de par worked fine I had older door knobs with smaller holes in door and there was no place for the drill to guide for larger hole which would normally cause the drill to jump off line but this kit held the cutting saw in place. I had to mark and reset it on both sides to get the clean cut so it would not splinter which worked fine.
