Description

Avec ce fumoir vertical décalé Dyna-Glo, vous pouvez maintenant fumer vos aliments préférés avec vos copeaux de bois favoris et votre carburant préféré, le charbon! La chaleur indirecte étant idéale pour la cuisson lente (et pour infuser la saveur fumée), la conception décalée de ce fumoir protège les aliments de la chaleur directe, ce qui aide à empêcher les aliments sur les grilles du bas de cuire trop rapidement.

• 6 grilles de cuisson ajustables supportant jusqu'à 25 lb d'aliments chacune.
• Chambre à charbon conçue pour que les briquettes soient empilées de façon compacte afin d'optimiser l'efficacité de combustion.
• Plateau à cendres amovible de grande capacité.
• Cheminée dotée d'un conduit ajustable pour un réglage précis de la température.
• Indicateur de température en acier inoxydable doté d'une « zone de fumée » qui indique la température idéale pour infuser de la saveur fumée.

can you use wood or just charcoal

I start off using charcoal and then add chunks of wood once its at temp. Depending on cook time and the amount of smoke i want, i add more charcoal if needed

Rated 2 de 5 de par Very cheaply made This smoker works pretty good. I like the separate fire box. The door on the smoking unit leak terribly. Half the smoke comes out of the door seams. It assembles real easy; but as soon as I opened the box my first thought was "this thing is going to rust in no time. Very thin and cheap finish coat. Scratches easily. I've had mine 2 weeks and I already see rust marks. I went to the company's web site to complain about the cheapness of this unit and even though it had a "contact us" option, I could not access their web site. Makes you wonder.....

Rated 5 de 5 de par great smoker I just finished my 1st cook with this smoker and I am very pleased! I had a 14 pound brisket and I knew I wouldn't fit in the smoke chamber so I cut it in half and cooked it for 7 hours and it turned out perfect! I used the rtv between the smoker and fire box and it worked perfectly,so if you get this unit use the rtv! I tried to use the nomex rope but no matter what I did I could not get the glue to stick so I went on with the cook anyway,but as it turns out my unit did not have any leaks around the doors! I will buy another 1 of these units when the need arises

Rated 5 de 5 de par I really 'smoked' Thanksgiving this year! My barrel smoker had served me well for many years but I made the jump to the offset firebox to improve my control over the cooking process. Bottom line - extremely satisfied! I don't understand the construction complaints - the steel is heavy-duty enough for what it is; it's not a jungle gym for the kids. Assembly: Thanks to the other reviews, I nomex-rope sealed the doors and used hi-temp RTV to mate the firebox and flue to the smoking chamber - no smoke or heat leaks! Secondly, no washers and nuts to fool around with - the threaded hardspots made assembly a breeze. Just follow the directions. Cooking: Use lump charcoal and the temperature will be 'in the zone' in no time. Firebox access made it easy to keep it fueled, Apple chipped and ashed. I use the very bottom cooking rack for a pan of hot water to steam the meats and catch the drippings - meats will never dry out and you don't want to miss out on the terrific gravy! The 21 lb. turkey took 8 hrs. while the pork loin and and sausage ring followed the instruction book's cooking table. Results: 20 Thanksgiving guests tore through the meats & gravy like they hadn't eaten in weeks. Oh darn, I had to fire it up again on Black Friday to smoke some trout and burgers just for us...awesome with Cherry chips!

Rated 3 de 5 de par Ok, but had some issues given price The packaging wasn't secure so there were nuts and bolts loose in the packaging. Mine also arrived with a small dent which smoke leaks out of. Smoke also comes out of the firebox / smoker joint and smoker door. they should consider adding some type of a gasket or seal. Or, simply enhance the design so there's not gappage. It's not horrible just not necessarily worth the price. A few fixes and swearwords on my end got me smoking. It does a pretty good job considering. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 de 5 de par GREAT JUST PUT SOME STOVE GASKET AND STOVE GASKET GLUE AROUND THE SMOKE BOX SEAMS BEFORE PUTTING ON THE SMOKE BOX AND THAT WILL SEAL ANY LEAKS, SAME FOR THE DOORS, JUST PUT STOVE GASKETS AROUND THEM TO, AND YOU WILL HAVE AN AIR TIGHT SMOKER, MINE SILL SMOKING , ALMOST 3 YEARS NOW....................

This was my first time using a smoker and I did not feel like a novice using it. The food was really good [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
