Description

Avec ce fumoir vertical décalé Dyna-Glo, vous pouvez maintenant fumer vos aliments préférés avec vos copeaux de bois favoris et votre carburant préféré, le charbon! La chaleur indirecte étant idéale pour la cuisson lente (et pour infuser la saveur fumée), la conception décalée de ce fumoir protège les aliments de la chaleur directe, ce qui aide à empêcher les aliments sur les grilles du bas de cuire trop rapidement.

• 6 grilles de cuisson ajustables supportant jusqu'à 25 lb d'aliments chacune.
• Chambre à charbon conçue pour que les briquettes soient empilées de façon compacte afin d'optimiser l'efficacité de combustion.
• Plateau à cendres amovible de grande capacité.
• Cheminée dotée d'un conduit ajustable pour un réglage précis de la température.

can you use wood or just charcoal

I start off using charcoal and then add chunks of wood once its at temp. Depending on cook time and the amount of smoke i want, i add more charcoal if needed

Rated 4 de 5 de par Good little vertical smoker! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd smoker. My first two were different brands of vertical, and horizontal smokers. I bought this smoker after seeing others in social media using it and a lot of research. It fit my wants from previous smokers; 1) being a vertical smoker 2) offset firebox 3) not a lot of modification needed to fit my needs/wants 4) good value and price 5) based on feedback from other owners, it lasts a long time. Smoked one it a few times already and I am EXTREMELY satisfied with it. Easy access to the firebox to add fuel, and holds temp well. I am looking forward to using it a lot!

Rated 5 de 5 de par great smoker I just finished my 1st cook with this smoker and I am very pleased! I had a 14 pound brisket and I knew I wouldn't fit in the smoke chamber so I cut it in half and cooked it for 7 hours and it turned out perfect! I used the rtv between the smoker and fire box and it worked perfectly,so if you get this unit use the rtv! I tried to use the nomex rope but no matter what I did I could not get the glue to stick so I went on with the cook anyway,but as it turns out my unit did not have any leaks around the doors! I will buy another 1 of these units when the need arises

Rated 5 de 5 de par I really 'smoked' Thanksgiving this year! My barrel smoker had served me well for many years but I made the jump to the offset firebox to improve my control over the cooking process. Bottom line - extremely satisfied! I don't understand the construction complaints - the steel is heavy-duty enough for what it is; it's not a jungle gym for the kids. Assembly: Thanks to the other reviews, I nomex-rope sealed the doors and used hi-temp RTV to mate the firebox and flue to the smoking chamber - no smoke or heat leaks! Secondly, no washers and nuts to fool around with - the threaded hardspots made assembly a breeze. Just follow the directions. Cooking: Use lump charcoal and the temperature will be 'in the zone' in no time. Firebox access made it easy to keep it fueled, Apple chipped and ashed. I use the very bottom cooking rack for a pan of hot water to steam the meats and catch the drippings - meats will never dry out and you don't want to miss out on the terrific gravy! The 21 lb. turkey took 8 hrs. while the pork loin and and sausage ring followed the instruction book's cooking table. Results: 20 Thanksgiving guests tore through the meats & gravy like they hadn't eaten in weeks. Oh darn, I had to fire it up again on Black Friday to smoke some trout and burgers just for us...awesome with Cherry chips!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Easy Delivered to my house on time, in perfect condition. Well packaged. Put it together by myself in little time. Seems to be be well engineered, and I was impressed with the manufacturing process. Everything went together easy, just like it should. Gave the entire interior a good heavy coat of cooking spray, and started the fire. The next day I smoked a rack of baby backs, turned out good. The seal on the door held smoke very well. I have read reviews of more expensive smokers that needed to be sealed. Not this one. The dampers work like they should. The temperature gauge works fine. What else to say? This is a win.

Rated 5 de 5 de par GREAT JUST PUT SOME STOVE GASKET AND STOVE GASKET GLUE AROUND THE SMOKE BOX SEAMS BEFORE PUTTING ON THE SMOKE BOX AND THAT WILL SEAL ANY LEAKS, SAME FOR THE DOORS, JUST PUT STOVE GASKETS AROUND THEM TO, AND YOU WILL HAVE AN AIR TIGHT SMOKER, MINE SILL SMOKING , ALMOST 3 YEARS NOW....................

Rated 4 de 5 de par Go smoking! I received this smoker as a gift. I found it a good smoker for the money spent. I only had three things that I found needed some attention. 1- It needs to have a set of wheels on one end for moving it around. 2- I had to using high temp form in place gasket between smoke box and charcoal chamber - leaked badly. 3- Doors are a bit flimsy. They bend a little too easy and leak badly where door meets cabinet - had to install Nomex striping to stop the leaks. Once I had performed those alterations...the smoker work very well. Delicious turkey, pork shoulder, trout, and ribs. My suggestion is to buy this smoker, make the alterations upon assembly, and enjoy the smoker!

Rated 5 de 5 de par Easy to make great smoked brisket! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this over a week. I fired it up and burned it in for a couple of hours. The next day I cooked ribs and brisket. It is easy to keep the temperature in the "smoke zone" and needed very little monitoring during the smoking. It is easy to assemble, easy to use. Easy cleanup. Only 2 complaints I can think of. Mine was missing 2 screws for the air intake control. The other is that the "drip pan" is tiny. I suggest just putting one of those throw away aluminum pans in the bottom or on the bottom shelf.

Rated 3 de 5 de par Ok, but had some issues given price [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging wasn't secure so there were nuts and bolts loose in the packaging. Mine also arrived with a small dent which smoke leaks out of. Smoke also comes out of the firebox / smoker joint and smoker door. they should consider adding some type of a gasket or seal. Or, simply enhance the design so there's not gappage. It's not horrible just not necessarily worth the price. A few fixes and swearwords on my end got me smoking. It does a pretty good job considering.
