New Ovens a Big Dissapointment
On 7/21/2015 I purchased my second K.A. Oven. My first oven lasted 14 years with no major problems. From the time the new ovens were installed,(7/30) I experienced one problem after another. Both of the ovens made a terrible noise and the convection was not working. Call store for service. On 8/13 service dept. came out; decided I needed new motors. Motors were ordered. New motors were installed on 9/18/2015.In the process of installing, repairmen noticed both fans had bent blades and had to straighten them out.
I am hopeful I will have no further problems.
As much as I enjoyed my K.A. Ovens in the past, I don't know if I would recommend them to others.

Beautiful
This is the worst purchase I have ever made. It was expensive and a long wait to get. When installed it was beautiful. It is an awful product. It takes 20 to 40 minutes to preheat and will not cook anything in the prescribed time. We replaced a Dacor unit which was old but perfect. We have had the service people here to evaluate the unit but they say this is as good as it will get. We are so sorry. After an hour on a 30 minute recipe the items are cool and can be handled bare handed. This unit is truly substandard despite the service people saying it is properly performing for its ability.

Bad quality
I had this oven installed on my new home by the builder. After a couple of months, the bottom oven bottom chipped, and if was under the builder warranty so they replaced it. I did purchase the extended warranty because Kitchen Aid sent me tons of letter offering it. Now, after 3 years, the bottom oven that is the one I use 90 % of the times, chipped again. They are sending somebody to do a touch up. it doesn't make any sense , since it looks like this oven's coating (blue) is not of good quality (I had the same problem twice with 2 different units in 3 years).

Solid Performer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the KitchenAid 27” double convection oven to replace an old JennAire. I did a lot of research and many comparisons to similar products by competitors. Ultimately this one looked nice, it fit in the existing opening and it had the important features: convection in both ovens, easy gliding racks, self cleaning. I’ve been using them for about 2 months now. These heat very evenly and operate fairly quietly. I love the blue interior! The racks are ok, but not as solid as the Bosch ones. Overall I’m very pleased. I think we got a lot for our money.

Love at first sight!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this Beauty installed on 11/12/20 and experienced nothing but pure joy! I read through the manual and learned some pretty amazing things to try with it. For example WE CAN ADJUST THE VOLUME of the alarm and the tones. I read from other reviews that you couldn't. I also did convection cooking on one and regular bake on the other and the food came out great! I also learned that while keeping the light on, because I loved the look, caused the oven to get hot inside as if I were baking! My old oven did not do that. Anyway it was a nice splurge and I'm glad that I did. I love this Baby!!

Good oven, some concerns with heating
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this oven about a month ago...at first we loved it. It looks great, is solid and is responsive. After multiple uses there are a few issues. First, when the top oven heats, the fan turns on from time to time. This isn't a big deal but it is loud for five seconds. Second, the heating seems to be an issue. I do understand that the oven will not maintain a constant temperature and there will be a fluctuation. The fluctuation, however, is around 150 degrees. Items that used to cook in our old oven take 50% more time at least in this one. Other than that it has worked well.

Great Double Ovens
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have these in for one month and they are wonderful. The inside is gorgeous with it’s blue interior and the slide out shelf is a wonderful convenience. They are not flimsy and cheap. I have tasted in them and used my baking recipes. Everything comes out delicious. Cooked well but not not dried out. Moist. Digital controls are easy to manage and they preheat fairly quickly. My other ovens were a top brand but 15 years old. I feel as if I have left the dark ages. Should have done the change sooner. Well worth the price.

Works great so far!
I recently had my double oven installed and so far I love it! I haven't had a lot of time to bake with it yet, but I have tried both the convection and bake functions on the oven with good results. I have made pizzas and cookies so far and they both came out really well. I LOVE the oven lights on the ovens. The only thing better is if you could light an individual oven, rather than both. The bell that lets you know the oven is preheated isn't loud enough. You have to be really paying attention to hear it. I haven't figured out yet if there is any adjustment for this, but I don't think there is.
