Interior Oven Finish
After baking an apple pie which bubbled over, we needed to clean our new oven for the first time. I had followed the manufacturer's instructions by not using aluminum foil to catch spills. After the oven had cooled, I wiped the bottom with water on a paper towel to remove any crumbs. I then set the oven to self-clean on medium. When the cleaning cyce was completed, the finish was taken off the bottom of the oven. With the glass door, the finish is very visible and looks terrible. Beware that this is NOT covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This is my fourth and last Whirlpool oven!!

Terrible Touchscreen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the only double wall oven that would fit our space without taking out cabinets. The actual function is fine if you can get the touchscreen to cooperate. If you open the upper oven door the escaping steam will turn the oven off, or on, or turn off the timer, or change the temp, etc. Ridiculous design flaw to not have a heat shield for the touchscreen. Also, the timer alarm is not loud enough to be heard from another room. Have to set an alarm on our phone or use the timer on our microwave oven. We have resorted to using our counter top toaster oven unless absolutely necessary.

Great Oven Except Timer Buzzer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife had an old Whirlpool Double oven that lasted for 27 years. So when we were ready for a new one we returned to Whirlpool. We are very happy about the features except 2 items. The timer buzzer for the new oven is barely audible. It is so quiet that if we have any noise in the kitchen (sink running, music on, etc.) we can't hear it. We have read the manual for any adjustments and found that it is already set at the loudest setting. Also, when you are finished cooking is not intuitive on how to turn the oven (you double click the Upper oven or Lower oven icons). This info cannot ne found in the manual.

This oven is garbage
We just had a 30+ year old wall oven replaced under warranty with this thing, and I'm instantly missing our old broken oven. What you won't see in the store is that this thing has a computer-controlled fan that it uses to vent air around the oven (my guess is because it's cheaper than insulating the oven properly). That fan is LOUD, and there are no user controls for it. It will run for as long as it wants, as loud as it wants whenever it wants. Our particular oven is experiencing a really loud whistling noise, which I'm unsure if it's a design flaw in the unit, an issue with our specific oven, or an istallation error, but it's driving me mad. I hope that Lowes is able to remedy the situation for us, but i fear that we're stuck with this thing. If you value your peace, STAY AWAY.

Too Complicated
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have now had the oven for about a month and not super happy. The features and wi fi capabilities seemed nice but in reality they complicate what should be fairly easy. I.e., there isn’t even a simple “off” button to know for sure if you shut it off. The oven does function well however, heats up nicely and looks great in our kitchen. Guess I am not yet ready to operate my oven from my tablet or my Alexa.

Touchscreen Hard To Operate
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My main concern was not receiving a user's manual with my unit. I was told that I would have to go on-line to find one and print. I feel that the user's manual should be included considering the cost of the unit. The touchscreen is difficult to use. It takes several tries to set a baking temperature, and it's frustrating. I would not recommend this model for older adults. Standard knobs and settings are easier to operate. I am looking forward though to using the cleaning element that is supposed to be using steam vs high temperatures.

Inside first year...already broken
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Barely got a few uses out of this oven when I got a low cooling fan error. Then as expected i have to battle with the limited scheduling availability of whirlpool technicians to come to my house with an 8! Hour window, now I will have to take a day off work.., have not yet scheduled a time to get it fixed yet because of the terrible availability... overall don’t buy whirlpool

Really Disapointed
This oven came with my new home. I’ve had a lot of trouble setting it. The touch screen is unresponsive and really pretty useless. What happened to easy to use dials and buttons? I’ve had a lot of trouble keeping the temperature correct. Fist set of cookies came out fine, second and third went in the trash. The app is okay but I’d rather have a model with a dial that actually kept temperature any day!
