Description
Ce four à micro-ondes avec hotte intégrée de KitchenAid est un produit idéal pour les cuisines restreintes. Ce four à micro-ondes se plaçant au-dessus d'une cuisinière ou d'une table de cuisson est muni d'un filtre au charbon et d'un système de ventilation ayant un débit maximal de 400 PCM. Doté d'une puissance de 1000 W et d'une capacité de 1,9 pi³, il permet de faire cuire de larges plats, et ce, rapidement. L'intérieur en acier inoxydable réfléchit la chaleur et se nettoie avec aisance. Ce four à micro-ondes est également équipé de commandes préprogrammées et d'un très grand plateau tournant de 14" en verre cessant de tourner si la largeur d'un plat bloque sa rotation. Plusieurs options sont offertes avec l'appareil, dont une commande de verrouillage parental ainsi que des commandes de cuisson par capteur qui règlent automatiquement la durée et le niveau de puissance pour une cuisson parfaite. Garantie limitée d'un (1) an sur les pièces et la main-d'oeuvre à domicile.

Beautiful, accurate, and stylish microwave!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit finishes off my kitchen nicely. I love the look of the KitchenAid black stainless series, and the matching handle with signature red end cap is the nut. The microwave itself is precise, with all the buttons, features, fan speeds, and lighting you need. This unit also has a convection feature with a removable metal shelf so it's actually another actual oven not just microwave. Just wish I didn't have to remove the metal shelf when not in convention mode - why not manufacture the metal shelf in microwave-safe materials? Anyway, not a big deal just won't use that feature that much. Overall this is quality at its finest and would buy it again and again.

Needs Improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This oven is an improvement over what it replaced however it needs an improvement. The controls are not back lit so seeing the controls in a lowly lit kitchen at night is a problem. I have added a sticker to the light button so that I can find it. If you miss the light button, the fan button is likely what you will hit. Doing so will turn on the fan at the highest setting and will take 7 more touches to get it to stop making noise. I love the unit otherwise as it cooks quickly. Using the convection oven without using the microwave at the same time can be a challenge learning.

High Dollar Crap
This was purchased as a set with range, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer. EVERY UNIT has had to be serviced multiple times. This unit just once but since the original problem is reoccurring it will need another service call. This microwave suddenly stopped working. The service tech told us to always let cook time run out or it can befuddle them system if you simply stop cooking by opening door (never had that a problem in the probably 5 microwaves I’ve owned previously) Now it’s not working consistently again. Service call #2 coming. Never realize how important having a microwave is UNTIL YOU HAVE ONE THAT WILL NOT WORK!

Love Convection Cooking
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were looking for a replace of our Kenmore Elite Microwave after my RV came equipped with a Microwave/Convection cooking appliance. It spoiled me. It is just my wife and myself, so our dishes are usually small, and I just hated heating up our large oven for two pieces of salmon or chicken breasts.
I did a lot of research on Microwave/Convection cooking, and I kept coming back to Kitchen Aid.
Now that I have had it for over a month, I can give an honest review. I love this thing! The controls basically talk you though Convection Cooking. If you can read, you can do this!
The other nice feature is you can calibrate the temperature in the oven. I confirmed the temperature accuracy with an oven thermometer while in the BAKE mode. The temperature was right on!
I like the idea of cooking 25% faster.
It also does a great job of steaming vegetables in the provided steamer.
Now one main reason I replaced our old microwave was the exhaust fan was horrible! I can now actually smell my cooking outdoors! The fan on this thing has some great suction. It even grabs the smoke/steam whenever I open my stoves oven door. On high it is a little noisy, but you have 5 more fan speeds. A total of 6!
It comes with a round metal rack for baking and an upper rack for multiple items.
I would highly recommend this Convection/Microwave to my friends and family

Elegant Design. Great Performance.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Convenient presets make this very simple to use. The convection oven works well, no need to use the range for smaller meals. The large window with chrome trim matches the looks of the range and dishwasher. My only criticism would be the alarm for the timer is too quiet.

Extrêmement déçue
Nous avons acheté ce four micro-onde il y a 1 an exactement. Aujourd'hui était la 3e fois que le réparateur venait chez nous. Le four ne chauffe pas assez et ça prend 4 min faire chauffer un plat individuel pour souper par exemple. Faire bouillir 1 tasse d'eau , ça prend 3 min. Je ne sais pas si j'ai tombé sur un citron ou si ce sont les composantes du four lui-même qui ne sont pas de qualité mais je vais devoir le changer car complètement insatisfaite du produit.
Seuls points positifs mais qui ne servent à rien quand la fonctionnalité principale de chauffer ne va pas bien : très beau, l'intensité du son de la fan et du four sont vraiment biens, pratique pour la grosseur et l'espace intérieur.

Kitchen aid made some confusing choices
On the whole I like this microwave. I got it pretty much because it matched the refrigerator and range that I purchased at the same time. It looks great. I don’t get why for whatever reason that I can’t do a timed defrost. Instead I have to go through about 6 button presses and guess at the weight of whatever I’m defrosting and hope it chooses a proper time. The same thing goes for the reheat function. How am I supposed to know how many cups of whatever I have left over? At this price point why is there not a sensor that determines when something is reheated like with other manufacturers?

Not as good as my cheap countertop microwave
Purchased all new appliances when we built our new home. Selected Kitchenaid due to having previous experience with the brand. Have been disappointed with the microwave. The time it takes to soften butter and heat water is long. It doesn't pop popcorn well, always has many unpopped kernels left in the bag (tried several brands of popcorn). Overall we have been disappointed with this microwave.
