Tough and durable
The bit was really sturdy - I bought two because I didn't want to risk getting half-way through the job and breaking the bit and then have to run back to the store, but it proved to be very tough. I never once felt like I was in danger of breaking the drill bit while drilling close to (100) 3.5" deep holes in the concrete footers for my deck, and returning the extra one was easy having the purchase on my MyLowes card. It went through the concrete like a hot knife through butter. Only complaint is that it's a very specialized tool, I rented the hammer drill for the weekend and the rental store didn't have the size bit I needed, so I ended up buying my own and now I have a bit but no drill...guess it's time to buy a hammer drill!

Drills just fine, easily broken
To be fair, this is a good masonry bit and cut into the limestone blocks I was drilling just fine. However, at 5/32 this bit is too thin to be used with a larger SDS drill. I have a large sized drill and, even taking care to not to bend the shaft of the bit, it still broke. I don't know if the torque of the drill caused it or if I just didn't notice I was putting too much lateral pressure on the bit, whatever, it snapped like a twig after drilling five holes. Use this with smaller drills to reduce the chance of snapping. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Will not last
This bit says that it is specifically designed to drill holes in concrete for installing screws
After one single hole, bit head got chewed up and could not drill anymore.
Very poor duarability

Are You a Rotary Club Member?
I have a Bosch rotary hammer that these bits fit into. My old 5/32" was kaput. So I bot some more. And I can put these into my DeWalt hammer drill in a pinch. I prefer the bits that are made in Germany. Read the label.

Failed on first hole...
I’m very disappointed in this bit. It broke on the very first hole. I was trying to drill a 2” deep hole in my garage pad (using my Bosch Bulldog) to anchor a work bench to the floor. Progress was slower than usual so I pulled back the bit and sure enough the chisel tip was GONE. I need another to drill about 75 holes in concrete block... it won’t be this one that’s for sure.

It did the job...
It drilled through a concrete block as if it were a stick of butter. However, I was using a Bosch bulldog rotary hammer drill. Not sure how it would do with a normal drill or a normal hammer drill. I probably would have bought a cheaper brand if Lowes had them in stock.

Well worth the money..
I bought this after going through two lesser quality bits that were supposed to be really good masonry bits. Ive drilled over 60 holes into concrete with this one and it still seems to be fine. Would highly recommend. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
