Is the set rustproof?
I have been going back and forth with the manufacturer on the rust issue, Lowe’s customer service sent me to communicate with the manufacturer in China.
The responses I received so far is that the rust is a known manufacturing defect. As explained by the manufacturer this is caused by some joints not being welded shut and ends up letting rain water in. As the water sits in the chair it rusts the metal since the inside is completely untreated.
The solution they proposed was to drill holes in the bottom of each leg to let the rain flow through. This will stop it from sitting with water inside but will do nothing to prevent the formation of rust inside since the metal is not properly coated.
Lowe’s needs to address this with either full replacements or a full refund since they are selling this set with documented known manufacturing defects.

Careful it rusts par
Boards breaking after 1 month
This set is nice and sturdy, I like the look and design. But after just 1 month of the table sitting outside (mainly unused due to the weather) the top boards are starting to come up by themselves. 4 of the screws holding on one of the boards had ripped out by themselves and in such a way that they will not screw back in.

Looks nice but broke first day!
This table was delivered this morning and the boards on top are already coming up. Not happy at all with this purchase.

Very disappointing
When we purchased there was 1 negative review about a board not being attached correctly. We loved the look and purchased anyway. Had to drive to a far location to pick up as they wouldn’t ship to other stores. Got it home and the table had a defect. The store disputed with us and finally agreed to exchange for the floor model. We had it for a few days and noticed rust leaking out from some of the chairs. The entire set is rusting and it’s not even 2 weeks old. Very disappointed. If I can get a hold of someone we will be returning.

Looks great but already coming a part
We bought this table two weeks ago and the top board keeps popping up. We have been to the store twice trying to figure out a plan to fix it. Very frustrating and not worth the money.

All slats on table top are held by 2 small screw. One of my slats popped up at one end. Found on screw missing and one screw present by not engaged. Tapped hole was oversize or stripped
