Fair warning - Needs a specific drain
I ordered two of these in Brushed Stainless for an undermount install with a quartz countertop. The sinks themselves are gorgeous and seem sturdy. I have no issue whatsoever with the sinks themselves and attaching them to the counter went smoothly.
BE AWARE - Most faucets come packaged with a drain intended for porcelain sinks with an overflow. These sinks do not have an overflow and due to the thickness of the stainless steel vs. a porcelain body, a stopper intended for porcelain sinks will not work. These sinks require a drain that is threaded to just under the stopper so the washer/nut (?) can be tightened up to the sink body. I'm not a plumber so I don't know the correct terminology, but a local plumbing supply house understood and sold me pop-up drains that worked with this sink.
It was an unexpected add-on expense that slowed-down the install while I scrambled around to find the right parts, but luckily my contractor had other projects to switch to, so he wasn't at a standstill. And these sinks are priced really well, so adding the drain, while unexpected, didn't blow the budget.
I do think Lowe's should add this info, with a link to a compatible drain, on the item page so others can avoid this issue at the time of purchase.
