nice look but thats where it stops!
Ive had this range for about a year and a half. I love the look and size of the elements and oven. I bought a complete suite of this same style. Unfortunately, I have had to have it serviced three times as of late. First was the convection fan, next the small burner went out and now the oven doesn't work and is showing I need a new cooling fan. My repairs now equal almost what I origginally paid for the range! Not OK. I have always had Kitchen Aid appliances and have never had any trouble with them. What's going on in your factory? So beware, once you purchase you may have to do costly repairs. So very disappointed.

Worst stove I have owned....
We bought it just before Xmas....the top is so difficult to clean...even if I very careful to not spill anything, it still leaves mark than almost need to be sanded down...I have owned glass tops before and this one is junk...the oven takes twenty five minutes to heat up to 400 degrees and the fan stays on for one hour to cool off...the inside of the oven is even worst to clean...again I am so careful yet I have to use the scrapper to get Reid of moisture stains in it....for the price one would think it would be easier to clean this oven...do not buy it unless you want to spend half hour each day sanding the top and scrapping the inside...

Only don't buy it
I bought it 1 year ago and and from the beginning cleaning of its cooktop glass was so difficult. I tried different ways that I learnt through the Internet, but non of them worked and and after one month many scratches and stains appeared that it is not possible to clean.
Another important issue that I faced recently is the main heater element that is supposed to cycle on and off to avoid causing very high temperature is not working and it works continuously and I should be careful otherwise my food burns.
I hope Kitchenaid service department at least provides me more information about its warranty and how to fix likely infinite switch problem. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Surprised how much i like this stove!
I live in my kitchen so when i was faced with getting a new stove, i did alot of research. I was terrified of a glass top stove. The stories of them cracking had me very nervois, but unless i switched to gas, i had to go glass top. I've had this stove for a couple months and am so happy with it. The steam bake feature and rack are one of my favorite features since i bake bread regularly. The cooktop is easier to maintain than i thought it would be, and i love the choice of convection or conventional oven. So im over mu fear of glass tops, am having fun testing the varioys features and overall love this stove! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great looking with large capacity.
Bought the oven about one month ago and so far so great. I replaced a slide in range that was not as deep as the Kitchenaid so I knew the new oven would stick out from the counter farther. It turned out to be a non issue. The Kitchenaid has about a 4 inch reveal but the sides are finished and the overall look is fine for us. the oven performance has been great. I've not used a lot of features just yet but am hosting Thanksgiving dinner and I'm not feeling worried. It comes with 3 racks which is great. Overall styling of the oven is very nice [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The Worst Stove I have ever Owned. . .
I had my kitchen remodeled and fell in love with the slide in stove! However once it was in it has been a nightmare to keep clean on the range and the cleaning of the interior stove is a joke in 2017!!! I had to purchase a special cleanser which was the only thing I could use. . . don't bother looking in any store for this item. . . it can Only be purchased online. Affresh. It sucks. There always seems to be spots and places that it does not clean!! Why would KitchenAid not include a sample of Affresh when this stove is purchased is beyond my understanding! The cleaning of the intereior is very difficult and I am wondering how this stove ever got on the market!!!!!! BEWARE.

Quality concerns with many appliances
The first range had multiple problems. I tested it by baking cookies. It took forever to have the oven come up to temperature. Then the control panel stopped working all together. We requested service and the vendor ordered another unit. It took some time so we were quite inconvenienced with no oven. The second oven performs fine. As noted here by others, the black cooktop is hard to clean. The first time I used one burner, it left a watermark around that does not want to go away. Also, the bottom unit drawer seems flimsy. It's not the quality I was
expecting. Lastly, We had many issues with three dishwashers before one worked properly!

Not impressed
Just bought this stove; it now sits in the middle of my kitchen. Bought it to replace a dead Jennair due to the downdraft. It is too big for the slot in my countertop; I need to have someone come in a cut the counter top. All different installation of the Jennair; also need to have someone else to come in to install the downdraft system. Did not think would need so much work in changing a stove. Also, I have doubts about the rubber contour of the stove top. This I think is going to be a problem for dirt and germs. Rethinking my purchase and have not even cooked a meal with it.
