Just like my old one!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Aftern 20 years, it was time to get a new range. The previous range was a GE ane similar to this one. Works just as wonderfully as the old one. A few differences: color (ours was Bisque) and range have these little buttons that pop up and down. When I put a light skillet on them, the skillet is tilted which takes a bit longer to cook item if not enough food weight applied such as making a grilled chees sandwich! Otherwise, brings pots of water to a boil quickly. Oven still takes 5 minutes to preheat. One more negative: It's black, so a lot of food splatter shows more. And when wiped down, you can see streaks!

Elements on stove are worthless!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this stove in October because my Maytag shot craps. This model was available which is why we purchased it. I do like the oven window nice and big and the oven compartment is roomier then my old oven. The storage drawer is smaller and doesn't hold much. I baked pies at Thanksgiving and the bottom crust was like it was raw. Disappointed. Biggest drawback are the sensie burners. I make candy for Christmas every year. I have had to throw out 3 batches because the element decides to quit heating in the middle of a batch. Because this is a better feature, so irritating. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

no great feature
the left side, then I started cooking, the largest coil reaches 375 F then it cools to 285 F
I bought this about 2 months ago and from the start, the bottom storage was crooked on the left side, then I started cooking, the largest coil reaches 375 F then it cools to 285 F then in hovers between 285F and 325F for a while, can't cook pasta, can't fry anything on it because the oil cools of and the food ends up saturated with oil, I gave it one star because there is no lower choice, I returned it to where i bought it and they gave me a refund, I bought another one.

Good choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased about a month ago and am very satisfied with the unit. Having had a glass top previously, the coils are taking some getting used to. The burners do not seem to 'glow red' all over, even when on high. However the food cooks properly and easily. The front large burner being on the left has also taken some getting used to. I have one suggestion, the light comes on when the burner is turned on, which is great, but could there also be a light to indicate there is/are still hot burners once they are turned off. This safety feature was very helpful on my old unit and could help prevent unnecessary burns or burned pot holders!

Heats up fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used my Frigidaire range for a few months now, and I really like the way it heats up the burner coils and the oven quickly. It has two lights for when the burners are on -- instead of just the one typically -- so you are alerted when one or the other side of the range has a burner on -- safer. (My previous GE range took a long time to heat up and had only one warning light.) The range has a helpful timer and oven cleaning system. The oven light turns on automatically when the oven door is open. The best part is that this range was inexpensive.

I bought this and within a week I realized something wrong with this stove. It starts up ok but within 3 to 4 minutes the stove element goes right down in temperature and stops cooking the food. You cannot finish cooking properly as you have to turn off and turn back on. In the meantime the food is swimming in the pan.

Oven sucks
takes forever to heat up. The technician that came out said to preheat for 20 min to cook at 350 degrees and 30 minutes to preheat for 400 degrees. Returned and got a samsung oven that preheats to 400 in 11 minutes.

Perfectly fit our needs!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 24 year old stove with this model and are amazed at the cooking quality difference this model made over our old model. Pizza, cookies, lasagna all cook more evenly in the oven and our meals have been more enjoyable because of it.
The range top has also provided more efficient and even cooking. Omelets on our old stove needed to be microwaved to ensure cooking was complete as the burners just didn’t heat evenly. No longer an issue with the new stove.
Best purchase for the home that we’ve made in quite a while!
