Is the deck box easy to keep clean on the outside? Also is it advisable to cover to prevent fading?
Easy to clean inside & out. Mine is sitting on a deck with full sun exposure since last summer, it's not covered & no fading or leaking over the winter. Love ours!

Easy to Assemble
I just bought this deck box and assembled it myself. It might be slightly easier with a second person once you have to affix the lid. The snap together design is great. You only need a screwdriver to install the hardware. It feels a bit less sturdy and lighter than I expected (perhaps because it is all snapped together) for the price. It has a good amount of space. Sort of an XL size but there are certainly larger ones around that hold 150 gallons plus. It is lockable, though it is plastic so not impossible to get inside. Likely best to keep it in one place rather than moving it around.

flimsy bottom
I purchased this item but after getting it home and opening the box, realized the bottom was flimsy with two parts joined in the middle so it wasn't solid, nor completed sealed from the bottom, so ants and bugs could crawl in. I returned the item the very next day. I am disappointed they did not show this part on-line, and for the price I paid I expected a better quality product. Very disappointing.

Excellent Product
Loved this deckbox. I was looking at another one but the reviews were bad so I started looking for something different. Found this deckbox and purchased it. It was easy to install, looks great, roomy and the lid closes automatically.
Also waterproof
Definatley recommend.

awesome deck box
I bought this deck box so I would have somewhere to put the cushions for my patio furniture. This box is sturdy, well made and HUGE. It was super easy to put together too!

Cheap plastic
Just finished assembling this box. Plastic is very flimsy. I had to take apart the bottom part because it wasn't snapped together properly from the factory which was preventing me from assembling two of the panels. In doing so, I chipped a piece of plastic that connects the two bottom panels together.
The bottom doesn't connect tightly together, which would allow bugs to crawl through and allow water to seep in as well.
For the price, you would think that the product would be of much better quality.

Huge and Roomy!
Ordered this larger size less than a week ago after seeing a smaller version at a friends - thought it looked so nice and tidy! Arrived in 3-4 days, we had it up within the hour. Fits our numerous outdoor cushions easily. Yes, as per another reviewer's comments, the bottom seemed flimsy at first, but once all the sides and top are together, it is fine. Honestly, we won't be moving this box around anyway. It's a great product and fits nicely into our outdoor decor.

Not exactly what we needed but very close
Wanted a wicker look to go with the patio set we bought there a week earlier. It holds the 4 seat cushions and 3 of the back cushions but nobody had one bigger. Would be nice if buyers could get various suppliers (patio sets, planter boxes, deck boxes, etc.) to provide the same colour, texture and suitable size.
