Lots of options!
I'm so glad to have knobs gone gone gone. It's so much easier to clean without them. The two large elements are adjustable to three different sizes adding a great deal of usefulness. Syncing two smaller burners for a griddle is great and I was surprised that a griddle came with the cooktop. In addition to doing a great job cooking it is a pretty cooktop complete with a beveled edge. With a glass cooktop it is necessary to clean frequently and that may be a negative but for me worth it.

Sorry I waited years to buy
I really love this cooktop. Have only 2 complaints. It is very hard to clean up after grease splatter. I bought the cleanser suggested by Cafe but even that laughs at grease. I now lightly wash with water and dishwasher liquid and then shine it up with the cleanser. Also the pots and pans easily spin on the glass. Suggestion: perhaps putting low ridges on the glass on the rings where the pots and pans are set would help. Just a thought.

Quick & efficient
Replaced a gas cooktop with the Cafe smooth top electric cooktop. It’s so much more efficient- you can choose the size of heating element according to the size of your pan. Heats up very quickly!- easy to clean- easy to operate - aesthetically pleasing
When boiling then simmering- turn appliance off - saving energy- heat remaining will simmer your food.
Love it .....

Excellent Choice
I have used GE induction for years and been happy with the overall quality with the exception of the first model years ago. We moved about 1 year ago and bought the Cafe induction cooktop to replace a gas cooktop in the house we bought. The Cafe was the only induction cooktop that would fit in the counter top opening without major cutting of the granite

Great Design
This is my second cooktop. I loved my first one but the bridge died. I picked this one because of the bridge (two burners you can use together). What I found was the center burner is so large I did not have to move to the bridge, the large center burner worked. That was a plus. I also love that you can boil water quickly. Faster than the microwave.

Pretty Good
We replaced our old style electric cooktop with this new glass top one. It heats quickly. I like the controls and that it can be locked off when not in use to prevent accidentally starting a burner. The only negative I have is that no matter how much I clean and polish the top the burners look as if they have a film on them.

Wonderful to cook with
I used a GE Cooktop for almost 15 years. It was great to cook on and still working but I wanted to change the color of kitchen. The new unit has many new features which make it wonderful to cook with. I especially like the touch control so there are no knobs to clean around.
